On arrival there was a note on the door stating that the apartments were closed and to ring a phone number to get access to the relocated premises. There had been no prior notification that this would occur and upon trying the number (and asking a receptionist from a nearby hotel to try the number as well) it was not a recognised telephone number. This is an appalling way to run a hotel. When we eventually found the people running the establishment we had to wait whilst they cleaned the room (60 minutes after the check-in time).
The only good thing about this apartment is that location was excellent. You could go by foot where ever you wish!
First of all, the apartment owner is extremely poor organized. Before our trip I wrote to him on whatsapp,viber, sms he didn't answer and he haven't got an email. When we arrived to the apartment he wasn't there, so we had to ask some spanish guy to call the his number.. He didn't answer like for 20 minutes. Than he came, took our money without showing us our apartment which was extremly dirty and also nothing like on the picture from booking.com!! The kitchen was a mess, the sheets and towels were smelly and dirty also! We asked for wifi password it wasn't working. So we sent him messages and again he didn't answer. In the end we asked our spanish friend to call him and to see what is happening with our wi fi, and he gave us the new password and finally it worked. In the end try to find another good location for this amount of money.. Definitely not recommend this place!
Location and staff (only 1 person) was ok.
But the rest.. To be honest, never again.. Unexceptable size of bathroom.. The pictures did not reflect reality at all :-((
Near to metro station
The cleaness was not good, the Wi-fi was not at all working (in my stay i didn't used Wi-Fi), and no proper support from staff. I called them many times, they said we will call you in 5 min.
I didn't like the fact that everything in the room was falling apart, there was no toilet paper at all I had to go to the market and buy myself some, no towels basically nothing at all the front desk the guy was never there for check in we had to wait
No parking nearby. So to park you have to pay an extra 25 euros. For that price I could've found a better place with parking. Wifi didn't work because the signal was too weak
The great location. Kitchen did not have any knifes(except for bread knife) but otherwise was good for simple cooking purposes.
Wifi connection! First day it barely catched any signal, only in the bathroom and in the second day it was completely disconnected.

It's really close to everything, few minutes from Prada (on foot). It's simple, with small places, but a good starting point for a city trip and for nightlife.
Parking is nearly impossible. Even for a few minutes, to (un)load your luggage. It's in the city, so parking garage is 0,05- ,08€/minute. No air condition. Noisy, you will hear your neighbour's air condition all night. External units are so close on the wall, that you can touch them. Hard to find the office.
The staff was very disoriented. The first day he placed us in a flat for two Even though we had payed for a flat for 3 people, so the next day we had to change. On the second day we had to change again the flats, because the drain in the second apartment was clogged, so when my father started taking a shower the flat got inundated. We had a lot of luggage, so all that carrying around was very arduous. Not very clean flats either. Definitely not worth the money.
The apartments were centrally located, clean and perfectly adequate for the price. Sheets and towels were provided. The staff were pleasant. The Wi-Fi worked well.
On arrival it was difficult to locate the office - there was no one there despite being within office hours. Luckily we found a very helpful local who telephoned for us and we waited for staff to arrive to let us in. We had booked a family room for 5; but were put in a double and a triple room on different floors for the first night - OK as our older children are 16, but would not have been acceptable for those with younger children. The double room was at the front of the building and the noise of partying did not stop until 7am. The next day we were due to change rooms and were told we could collect the key any time between 10am and 10pm - on arrival at 6pm the office was again closed and a note left on the door said they would be back within the hour, with a local phone number (British mobiles just cut off as no area codes were given) Luckily some other guests arrived who spoke spanish and went to a pay phone to call. This time we were waiting over an hour and a half to get in. With only 2 days in Madrid the time wasted waiting around was very irritating. A great pity - otherwise the property was much as would be expected for a very fair price.
we had to wait one hour to check in, the appartment was not the one we booked before, one bed was missing, the wifi didn't work at all. the staff bring us one mattress many hours after our check in time and he left it outside the appartment, we had to put it inside and prepare the bad to sleep. there was not enough towels
The value for the money was excellent (it is what I expected). We were able to cook meals which saved our family money. The receptionist was very helpful. If you're looking for a perfect place, this isn't for you. However it suited my family's needs (except for the lack of air conditioning).
After reading other reviews, I brought my own toilet paper and dish soap because they weren't provided. Also, there was no air conditioning or wifi that was in the listing. Luckily the weather wasn't too hot or the room would be very uncomfortable since we were given a top floor apartment with a loft. It was challenging to find the reception area to check in.
The reception was hard to find. The boy was very helpful, but he did not spoke a word in english, he just wrote words in google translate and explained us.The apartment is 2 blocks away. In front of the building is square, which is ful of people until 6 am. Apartment is interesting, one double bed is bunkbed. Apartment was not clean, it had few towels and no toilet equipment, no toilet paper. Some beds had no fresh sheets, just dirty and used as they left from previous guests. Kitchen was very small, it has no oven and toaster. In dishwasher stayed moldy dirty dishes,they were there for a week before. The owner showed usat the begining, that refrigerator is a bit broken and that we must not throw anything in toilet bowl. Later we saw, that "anything" was ment also for toilet paper. When toilet was flushed, all garbage came up throgh the hole in the tube. Disgusting. Under the flushing bowl is some "thing", a pump or a mill, which pushes garbage forward. All drains in appartment do not swallow, so by showering is 20 cm of water in tube in a minute. We found some cockroaches. To exchange the apartment was impossible, because you pay whole price before you see the apartment. The boy gives you also the statement to subscribe, where it is written, how you must keep the apartment clean and what the penaltyes are. We traveled a lot and we make all our accomodations trough booking.com (10 different places trough 3 weeks of holidays) and in 5 years we did not get such bad accomodation. This was the worst ever. Disgusting. We documented everything on photos. Stay away.
location was excellent, air con was easy to use and efficient,the facilities all worked.
It was hard to find as the info is inside a locked door, with 3 tel. nos, that you can not see from the street and the janitor was missing. We waited until someone opened the building entrance door, and managed to contact the janitor by phone. He quickly turned up from outside the building. Problem was he was never there. The room was dirty and only needed a lick over with a cloth and soap. If you just want somewhere to sleep okay otherwise I would look else where.

The room was poorly maintained. The price may have been cheaper than other centrally located apartments but it wasn't value for money, despite its location.

Booked 2 bedrooms for 3 adults & given a studio with 3 beds in 1 room. 1 bed broken! Refused to stay. Told all 2 bedroom bookings had been cancelled! Given another 2 single rooms for the night & eventually another flat the following day in another apartment block but still only one bedroom with second bed in livingroom. Virtually no crockery, no toiletries, kettle, toaster, oven did not work, toilet seat broken. Had to communicate through google translate. OK it was cheap but does not mean it had to be nasty! Be warned...

We started the first night with a horrible flat with lots of problem (drainage problem, electricity cut and uncomfortable beds). We change it to a better place but it was very near to 24 noisy bars and red area of Madrid. English level of the staff was basic
So noisy on the street all night & hard to sleep. Poor sound proofing
The location was great- on Gran Via, near to all the main attractions, stores and restaurants. Really top location.

We wrote to the guy, we were going to be there around at 9pm the man who couldn’t speak english wasn't in the office that time. We tried to call him, but we couldn’t because the telephone didn’t ring out. We were waiting one hour for him. About the room: it was dirty, i think nobody cleaned it. and the kitchen was poor. It was not really equiped. The router was in the first floor and we were in the fourth. There wasn’t wifi signal there. So we couldn’t use it. The bed was very used, so in the middle of the bed, there was a huge hollow. We got a room, wich is not on the website, so there is no pictures of the room.
