Hotel Helmántico  

The choice was made as a second overnight stop en route to Portugal. It was selected as being close to the Autoroute and easy to find. We were very satisfied with the room, our evening meal and breakfast. Very comfortable and warm room. Reception and staff very helpful. Underground car parking a bonus.

This Hotel is very poor .Dinner was not until 21.00 hours & the selection of Tapas in the bar was very poor. In the morning the breakfast was also poor with very little selection in all not a very good hotel .

In its literature the hotel stated that it was not in the centre of Salamanca but that there were regular buses which passed in front of the hotel which went to the centre. This proved untrue, which was a pity since that was the reason we booked the hotel. Its location is great for a late night stop on a car journey. However its location is isolated with nohing o promote it oher than the Salamanca football stadium.

The location, close to the motorway, yet a short drive into the heart of Salamanca. Reception was warm and friendly, no hassle and quick. The room ample size for two with spacious bathroom, plenty of instant hot water, nice towels. Comfortable beds. We went into Salamanca for supper and had a walk around the town, very nice. Breakfast at the hotel was a little lacking, the language barrier made it hard to understand what was on offer but we did not starve. Our second stay in 5 years and we will use the hotel again. We have recommended the hotel to friends and had good feedback from them.

What I like about this Hotel is it location to the motor way, and value,

Stay at hotel fine but address was useless for sat nav as the street is more than a mile long and can be reached from 2 motorway junction if sat nav can take you to wrong junction therefore a more accurate address or co-ordinates would be welcome

Ease of access from major through route

The helpful staff - the barman went and cooked us a meal despite the fact that the kitchens were officially 'closed'

El personal es muy atento y el amplio aparcamiento se agradece. Además, es ideal si vas con coche a la ciudad salmantina o para ir al estadio de fútbol, ya que está justo al lado. Por la noche, silencio.

El mobiliario es un poco antiguo, la moqueta está vieja y la televisión es bastante pequeña. No tiene minibar tampoco. Por lo demás, bien. Sobre todo el wifi gratis ;)

El personal del hotel y su trato. Se come muy bien y a buen precio. Es muy tranquilo.

Que ha cumplido con mis espectativas

Las camas son muy pequeñas (90cm), solicite habitacion para minusvalidos pero no me confirmaron.
