Very good location in the heart of Barcelona, 2mn away from La Ramblas and Leceu Metro station. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Free Wifi with good connection in rooms

A bit overpriced Room view (my room - 414 window was facing a wall)

The day time receptionist was excellent. He helped getting on internet and recommended a local restaurant. Breakfast was great. Clean and quite.

Rooms are nice and clean, so are the bathromms. I actually miss the breakfast. Situated 20m from Rambla.

W.C. stopped flushing! Signs of burning on walls near bed caused by wall lamps. Breakfast a little meagre, some seats in dining room too low for comfort. Rooms and hotel quite small.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged for one of my traveling partners to use a meeting room at no charge. a lifesaver!!! The location was good, being off of Las Ramblas rather than right on it - as a result the noise level was considerably less.

I left my wallet in the room safe when I checked out and it took the hotel a week to return it. When I notified them of my stupid mistake the morning after my stay ( a Friday) they told me that they would contact me Tuesday to arrange for its return. True, it was Easter weekend, but unless the hotel was closed (which it was not) i don't see why the staff couldn't have been more responsive. That's a long time to be without ID, credit cards, etc.

Very good location, near the old city centre; friendly staff; clean, quiet, modern room; good breakfast. Price was not cheap but acceptable for a city-centre hotel.

Air conditioner a bit noisy; sometimes woke me during the night. If you open the window to get fresh air at night you also get street noise.

the location of the hotel was excellent. It was in a street which was almost in the middle of the La Rambla. The hotel was clean enough and safe because they were not letting everybody to enter to the hotel you have to ring the bell to enter day and night. The Liceu metro station was 3 minutes far from the hotel. They have recommended a restaurant named Salamanca but we didnt like it.

Room smelt a bit of smoke

I liked tht staff spoke English if needed and was helpful sometimes. I liked that we had the 5th floor and the room is very pretty.

The heat/air system was not working correctly. It was always too hot in the room. And opening the window would make it too loud and cold.

The location was perfect. You could enjoy Rambla's nightlife to the most and be in your bed just 5 minutes after. The staff were really helpful and the hotel was absolutely clean. The hotel has a great value for money ratio. If I travel to Barcelona gain I would definitely stay in this hotel.

Location couldn't have been better just a few yards from the Ramblas. Staff were very friendly rooms were spotless and modern advertised as soundproof and they were never heard a sound from outside.

No bar. It would have been nice to relax at the end of the day with a nice cool drink.

Hesperia is a great hotel to stay in if you want to fall out of bed into the bustle of Barcelona life. It is perfectly located for the fabulous Bouqueria Market, shopping, tapas and bars. The rooms are bright, modern, spacious, comfortable, and the staff were great. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to all. Great value for money

Location was perfect. The room was small but very clean and nicely designed. Everything looked new (from sheets to the shower). The room was made every day and we were given new towels without asking, as well as new soap and bath sponges. All in all it's perfect if you want something that looks and feels nice and asthetic, but not too pricy.

Extremely good location, nice rooms and lovely shower. The staff was nice and the breakfast very good.

Small rooms, a bit soulless, lacks personality, no lounge facility, no food, bar, cafe in house apart from breakfast.

Excellent location, nice rooms, friendly staff and very good value for money. Handy free luggage store if you have a late flight after checking out.

Location to port and Metro.

Staffing not very helpful. If we were able to speak Spanish, maybe that would help.
