The hotel is situated in walking distance of all mayor site seeings in Bilbao like the Guggenheim and the old centre.

We travelled with our own car and the gps system found the hotel flawlessly but....while arriving at the spot that the gps said "you have arrived" we didn't see "Hesperia" anywhere! After passing the spot three times we just parked the car and went looking. It turned out that "Hesperia" was written on the window in tiny letters you impossibly can see when sitting in your car.

location, comfort, decor - excellent hotel

the light in the bathroom was overheating (?) and switching itself off for a few minutes if one stayed in the batroom for more then 15 minutes or so

I liked the good location and hotel comfort. We appreciated hotel design and modern style.

We didn't take breakfast because prize was too high compared to the very good offer in the bar in the surround.

The whole experience was excellent. The room was fantastic with great views of the river. Loved the coloured glass windows and the bathroom was very cool. Great location too.

My bed squeaked but it didn't really bother me.

Close to centre, especially Guggenheim museum. Our river view room was very spacious and comfortable. The coloured glazing was very quirky. Staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent english. Hotel car park was a bonus.

The air conditioning did not work so we had to change our rooms. Quite an inconvenience with 2 small children late at night!

The glass coloured balcony gave it a unique character. The design of the room and bathroom with hidden door made it a feel like a special place to stay

The team at the hotel reception are very kind and helpful.

- Ripped bed linen. - Cigarette holes on the curtains in a non-smoking room. - Intense cigarette smell on a non-smoking floor. - Small bedroom. - Small bathroom with a flooding shower and no place to put a soap bar next to the washing basin.
