Hotel Hesperia del Port  

Clean and comfortable place, friendly staff and well located.

This hotel has a really good location: Ramblas and the metro are just in 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The man who met us the 31th of December was helpful and nice, he told us all the information we needed. The safe is free.

The girls worked at the hotel reception were not helpful at all. The pressure of the water in our shower (the room № 305) was poor and it took more time to have a bath, than usually.

Decent neighborhood, convenient to cruise port for one night stay before cruise departure. Grocery store next door. Many restaurants nearby. Extremely helpful staff. Felt safe and secure due locked front door

Friendlyness of front desk staff. Very helpful about how to get around the city and many ways of doing it.ie. Bus, metro, taxi etc Very convenient to the port for cruisers. A taxi is always available on the street outside the Hotel for the cruise terminal. Convenient to La Rambla and the Metro. There is a great little coffee shop several doors away with great cappuccino and croisants. Very friendly and informative staff as well. Overall great location and staff.was great. A 9/10.

We will stay here again next year and recommend this hotel to friends. Especially cruisers

The hotel was suitably located for our needs

I'm sorry to say that the room we stayed in on 25th sep was the worst room and the most expensive of our whole 4 week vacation. The room had a terrible odour was unclean and looked sraight into many living areas of apartments. When we asked for another room we were told there were non available despite booking sometime ago.. We will not be staying again and could not recommend to others.

The staff is rude. The place is very noisy. We could not sleep for several nights. This is the worst place we have stayed during our Europe trip and the rate is not cheap.

Close to main street of La Ramblas and to the cruise port. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and furnished to a good standard. Great value.

Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in room.

The hotel was barely OK. It is well positioned, almost at the seaside, and some 5 min walk from La Rambla. The room was kept very clean.

Didn't like much. It was well below what I expected, and what was 'promised' via photos and hotel description. Worst ever flors and coridors, furniture was probably supposed to be changed some 5-10 years ago, but they forgot to do it, noisy beds, viewing other rooms, leaking shower cabin causing flods on tha bathroom floor every time you take a shower, constant attempts of hotel staff to spare a shampoo/shower gel every day (getting one or no bottle at all even though there was two of us in the room), the fridge barely having any liofe in itself, etc. This hotel needs some serious redecorating.

Het hotel is klein maar goed verzorgd. We kregen eerst een kamer met uitzicht op... ramen :-s maar nadat we meteen hadden aangegeven niet blij te zijn kregen we een nieuwe met uitzicht op de straat :-). Elke ochtend stond er een lekker vers ontbijt klaar. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. De ligging was perfect, niet ver van de Ramblas(5min lopen) en de haven (waar je overigens heerlijk kan eten bij Tapa Tapa!). Elke dag werd je kamer opgeruimd en kreeg je schone handoeken.

Er is gratis WiFi maar die doet het steeds niet. T ligt niet zozeer aan het hotel maar Barcelona is een drukke lawaaiige stad waardoor je in de nacht wel een paar keer wakker wordt van ambulances, politie en scooters ook voelt de metro soms aan als een lichte aardbeving..

Chambre très peu confortable --> lit dur et Grinçant Dommage pour nous - 3 mauvaises nuits

La cortesia e la disponibilità dello staff composto anche da personale italiano alla reception. La pulizia della camera era buona e la posizione ottimale, praticamente 200 mt dalla Rambla.
