Great hotel! Fantastic amenties, delicious food and friendly helpful staff. It also has a great location next to the port but within walking to the town (shops/restaurants/main square) and I believe you can also walk to the beach. I was on a business trip but actually felt like I was on holiday! I would definitly stay here again - great value for money!

The room are beautiful & clean, the breakfast is excellent & fresh and the location of the hotel is perfect (in the old city). For a 5 stars, service is not there: no international press, no shop, no fresh fruit in the room... Some lamp in the corridor were broken and the carpet need some fresh. Same thing for the wall in the stairs. Moreover the swimming pool and fitness center are accessible to public. It's a really good hotel and the price are good but definitely not a 5*.

pool and spa facilties The breakfast, although plenty of variety and quantity - some of the pre coked food - especially the meats and egg dishes felt that they had been lying around too long.

The family room (actually more sort of a small apartment) was excellent in all respects: well separated areas for the parents and the kids (with doors) with large beds, and a luxury bathroom. The view on the harbour was just great. We also very much liked the 3 (public) swimming pools adjacent to the hotel, and to spent time there together with the "native" people from La Coruna. Further: the city center of La Coruna is wonderful with a large car-free area and great squares and restaurants.

It was ideally suited to be near the city centre and the harbour. For a 5 star hotel I was disappointed. Lack of information for the services so we had to ask for everything. The carpet in our room was shabby and stained. I would have liked to have had coffee/tea facilities in the room.

Great pools and spa. Good rooms, good size and modern. Overall v good value while the offer was on. Great location. Aircon not very effective. Service not great, but ok. Non smoking rooms smell of tobacco, and have ashtrays!

We were given a room in the 7th floor. The room was well furnished, with good taste, and very confortable. The view over the port was spectacular. We were also pleased with the breakfast, wich was excellent and took place in a very nice room. The location of the hotel is perfect: you can walk to Maria Pitta square and the shopping area. The swmming pools are outmoded an open to the external public. The hotel should have one swimming pool for guests only. If you leave your car in the hotel park you need to wait for a long time until the steward gets it for you. But these are the only negative remark about this otherwise wonderful hotel.

The bed was comfortable (not too hard, too not soft) The breakfast buffet was extensive and some was delicious. Overal this place doesn’t live up to the expectations you have about a 5-star hotel. Most annoying was the far too high temperature of the room. Besides that the airco was very noisy. So at night the alternatives were the noise of the airco or a warm, oppressive temperature. To open the windows was no option because of the street noise. Personnel was dufifull. They didn’t try to make you feel most comfortable. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready yet. We had too wait for 15 minutes. After 40 minutes I asked the desk asked how long it would still take. They assured they would call us when it was ready. That lasted another 10 minutes and when we arrived in our room the cleaning people were still in the room, finishing their job. Mastering of English by the desk personnel is mediocre.

The hotel is convenient for the sea front and the town. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the room (a small suite) was very roomy and comfortable. Next door is an amazing sports and swimming club which residents have access to. This had a choice of swimming pools, tennis courts, sauna, steam room and plenty of space for sunbathing. The water was a little cold but we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there. In the bar we had excellent cocktails and the dinner in the hotel restaurant was superb. We asked for a non-smoking room but were given a smoking room, although we could not smell smoke although the decor looked a little tired. In the morning I did not want breakfast but found it impossible to get a coffee without having to sit in the restaurant - the lounge area where I wanted to sit and read the paper seemed off-limits, so I went without coffee. Minor quibbles for an excellent hotel.
