Hesperia Lanzarote  

The location; very peaceful compared to busier parts of Lanzarote. The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The occasional draining smell near the pools. Howvever it didn't last for long. The buffet in the evening was overpriced and not five star quality.

The Spa was very good, the scenery was beautiful and the breakfast had everything you wish for.

Bathroom was very old and should be renovated.

very easy acces from main road LZ-2 ,great place for family with kids,very close to all main trip destinations and airport,comfortable rooms ,free of charge wi fi internet.Highly recomend.

We liked the location and the walk down to the harbour . We enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby every evening. The staff were lovely, always looked after us. Especially at the bar down the lower end of the pool. El drago I think.

It wasnt that we did not like anything about but think we could have done with a kettle in our room to make tea and coffee. Also I think there should be wifi in all rooms and for some english speaking channels or a more up to date system on the T.V. other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The location was very good with great views from the bedroom. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The facilities of the spa should be included in the room price rather than separately priced.

It was a lovely hotel, relaxing with excellent cuisine. There was a lot of pool room and sun loungers. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice being able to walk into Peurto Calero.Outings were easily arranged from the hotel.

I liked the location. It is situated in Puerto Calero, which is a small quiet relaxing marina and port. The hotel has every facility, lovely rooms some of which have beautiful sea views. It has a spa and many pools. It is incredibly relaxing there, as it is in a quiet resort, away from the crowded areas. There are some lovely restaurants 10 mins walk away. Also it does some great deals..excellent value for money and I would definitely return.

Everything was fabulous. Really first class hotel. Would go again.

No tea/coffee in the rooms and the stairs were not clean. Everything else was immaculate.

We love its location, its space, the garden, the excellent breakfast on the terrace, and last but not least the friendly helpful staff from reception, clean ladies to restaurants! We had a lovely week at hotel Hesperia and we cannot wait to go back there. We booked the hotel last minute and we did not know what to except and we had such a pleasant surprise. We asked for upper floor and our demand was met. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed mini club and we all have wonderful souvenirs. Thank you!

Room service may be...but it was during Christmas time and they were all busy we assumed. It did not affect our stay at all.

Very relaxing week .......... but a pity the spa was closed, we've stayed here before and the spa was something we were looking forward to. Helpful staff and good breakfasts. Most of our meals were taken in Puerto Calero and were generally good ........ especially the Argentinian restaurant.

Wi-i connection very hit and miss and very, very slow.

Friendly and helpful reception staff Excellent location at far end of Puerto Calero is quiet & isolated and right next to ocean Excellent brakfast & half board buffet (which changes every evening) Bar & food prices reasonable Junior Suites are very well sized rooms and are recommended - particularly the Ocean View suites at the front of the hotel Good range of pools to choose from Puerto Calero, a recent development built around a harbour and a small shopping mall is a short walk away with plenty of restaurants to choose from if you want to eat out Very good access in this hotel if you are a wheelchair user or are bringing a pram

Mosquitoes - as soon as the Sun set, they appeared. We weren't warned of these and unable to prepare before receiving several unpleasant bites as on the Canary Islands such attacks are unusual. Bar staff could have been friendlier Main hotel bar and performance area un-atmospheric and feels like an Airport Lounge (avoid recitals by Juan Gomez) Once the sun has set there is little to do
