Hesperia Playa Dorada  

good location, 500 meters from the village of Playa Blanca, with many shops and restaurants. Also a very beautiful promenade along the sea. Also 500 meters from the bus station to go anywhere on the island if you don't hire a car.

If you want a sea view, ask the 3rd floor, otherwise you will be bothered by the trees.

Great location, friendly staff, good pool side areas and grounds. very good value for money

Only downside would be that the rooms do need updating, but that said, the room was clean and the public area's were all well kept.

the staff at reception desk are the rudest that my wife and myself have ever come across no matter what time of day we went there for the smallest of things like for eg. just to turn on the cigarette machine that requires by the way a button to be pushed under the counter they would leave you waiting or just try to avoid to be anyway helpful never met the like of it anywhere it does not cost anything to have a little manners went half board breakfast very good dinner was not great not 4 star by any means we will return to playa blanca again but we will stay at lanzaorote princess as we have previously we found the staff and food top class

Nice hotel. Wifi was free. Fitness 5,5 euros, a bit silly. Staff was nice and helpfull.

Nice hotel with good location,close to the beach 2 min., very quiet place, most elderly people staying in the hotel. great place to relax.

Staff with poor knowledge of english language. Restaurant was a way too small for the amount of people stayin in the hotel, long ques before brekfast and dinner time, didnt like food.

Very friendly staff. Well appointed facility ie near beach, village, restaurants. Leisure facilities were eccellent, particularly the outdoor heated swimming pool and the gym and indoor pool.The happy hour concept was most attractive.

Only three things come to mind: 1.At times the reception staff appeared overwhelmed when checking in guests so that it was very difficult to get their attention.It is suggested they should have back-up on such occasions, 2.The buffet lunch by the pool is clearly sub-standard. Quality is very poor and bad value @ € 12.50 3. The sun beds are in need of replacement, very saggy and could with some proper mattresses on top.

The food was varied and well presented, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the poolside was kept clean and the lifeguard always around. The gardens were well kept and all lavatories clean and sweet smelling.

The towels were small and thin, pillows a bit hard, and happy hour was a bit early at five till six.

Lovely hotel in great location,buffet breakfast was very good, busy at times but pleanty of food and tasty. Dinner different theme every nite and staff dress in same theme,like italian nite,mexican ect. A lot of effort put in and the hotel was always spotlrss clean. pool was heated and loads of sunbeds. I will be back to stay here again.

Only complaint the carpet in our room needs chan ging.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel our room was clean a good size with balcony and sea view. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was excellent with all ameneties within easy reach. All in all a very pleasant stay will definately be back.

The location is great - right on the promenade minutes from either the town centre or the marina rubicon - Liked the relaxing spacious sun terraces and pool

Omg - Happy hour 5pm !! what can I say ? bar staff had no idea - not that we were alcoholics but we just wanted to take advantage of the 2 for one offer as the prices of drinks arent exactly the cheapest . Unfortunately everyone else who was staying there felt the same and 20mins wait at the bar was the norm - Felt that there should have paidmore attention to the running ofthe pool areas as most of the time plates crockery and glasses were left uncleared for a long time
