This modern hotel is located close to Barcelona El Prat Airport. It provides free airport shuttle, shuttle to the Ramblas for an extra charge, and a swimming pool.
Score from 1686 reviews Very good
This designer hotel provides a free shuttle to Barcelona’s El Prat Airport, located 2.5 miles away. It includes a sauna, gym, indoor pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
Score from 2441 reviews Good
In Barcelona’s historic center, the Pillowrooms Boutique Hotel is located 325 ft from the Arc de Triomf. With free Wi-Fi, the hotel is a 7-minute walk from the Ciutadella Park.
Score from 210 reviews Wonderful
On the edge of Barcelona, but very near important business and commercial areas of the city, this is a smart and stylish hotel with great access to the airport.
Score from 260 reviews Very good
aircon and wifi
Nothing locally to the hotel
Views great. Rooms and ensuite good. Again younger persons taste.
The lounge area seating not suitable for mature visitors.
Exceptionally attractive rooms. Very helpful staff. Outstanding dining. Close to metro. Easy taxi to airport.
Off by itself; not near anything.
The cleanliness was very good, the staff is very friendly and prompt.
The fact that they try to give you a bad room. They gave us a room which was clean and everything, but with faulty shower doors and no robes or slipers and the last night we had to move because of a leaking AC system. The new room had everything ok, so it was possible, but they tried us with the first room. So our advice: if something is wrong, ask for your rights
Gorgeous decor, good location with transport to the nearby beach and city centre, excellent housekeeping, lovely city view.
Many of the reception staff were very unhelpful and failed to reccomend any form of transport other than taxi in spite of the many bus routes operating beside the hotel which we discovered for ourselves. Furthermore we were expected to pay €14 each a day to avail of the pool which is not outlined anywhere on bookings.com and is something which I have never before encountered in any hotel.
Contrary to some others, I think this is a genuine 5 star experience, albeit maybe near the lower end of that spectrum. Ultramodern room design will appeal to some but not to everyone. Location is ideal for the convention centre and the nearby University campus, but not even too bad for Barcelona, as the subway is nearby and conects directly with the city centre. Obviously not the same as staying in the city centre or even at L'Eixample there but for this rate (110 Euro per night) you won't get much more than a doghouse. We have actually stayed here on a stopover (travelling inland) but with a nice one-day trip to Barcelona.
The airport shuttle only a few times a day - not really useful. There is a direct bus to the airport just around the corner though. No tea/coffee facilties in the room.
All the staff provided excellent customer service, the room was very clean and we enjoyed the Tower Club.
I was not happy with the meal I had in the restaurant. My well done steak was bleeding and the meal was overpriced compared to the many restaurant meals we had while in Barcelona, Madrid and Zaragoza.
Wireless and beds
Add on charges for everything!
The room was very comfortable and clean, with a large TV and iPod Dock. Room service was efficient and good value. There were panoramic views across the outskirts of Barcelona towards the airport. Although there is not much in the way of bars and restaurants in this district the hotel bars and restaurants are lovely.
No tea / coffee making facilities in the room - weird!
Pretty much all of the hotel and loved my room.
The fact that I had to pay an extra 14 euros / day to use the gym spa and pool area. However I was there on business so I only used this facility once. So this amount did not break the bank.
Location convenient for the airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet and reasonable prices in restaurant.
There are signs of wear and tear in both the public areas and guest rooms. The hotel's website describes it as 5* accommodation. It clearly is not. No iron in room as promised. Two bathrobes (rather worn) but only one pair of slippers. Kettle in room but one sachet of coffee only and a few tea bags plus a notice indicating further supplies would cost €6.
Is the best hotel I ever been in
All advertising and promotional material on third party sites as well as the hotel site featured a swimming pool, which in most instances and for all practical purposes is not a feature for guests.
The hotel was beautiful with the best bathroom iv'e ever seen in a hotel, their basic rooms are very spacious (you would think they are upgrades). the bed was very comfy and the wifi was fast.
the location is far out but there is a metro 10 mins walk which is super easy to use, the fitness/pool costs 14 euros a day which is ridiculous and the room service is sky high with hidden charges.
Nice rooms-good price
Someone else charged drinks to our room. Was settled. Food options very costly.
The modernness, excellent staff, superb, would definitely stay again
Restaurant was wonderful. Lovely food, very modern twist on traditional dishes. Great views from the room. Very comfortable, clean and modern room with great bathroom space.
We booked for the spa and the hotel didn't know much and I didn't receive responses to my email about the spa. The spa told us that the communication betwen them and the hotel was terrible. We book at that location because of the spa, we would have booked more centrally if we had known. We weren't able to book any treatments as was fully booked which wouldn't have been the case if the hotel had helped us. 8 euro cost to re stock a couple of cheap tea bags and some pots of milk is access and takes away the feeling of being in a 5 star hotel.
Free shuttle, excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms large and stylish. Lovely shower. Good wifi
Robes small. Shuttle timetable not available online. Payment for gym and pool. Slow check in and check out.
The rooms are clean and quiet but that is all thats good!
The hotel has no food! Nothing is open. All restaurants were closed when we visited and you have to taxi miles to find closest restaurant. There is no management to be seen only when a vip guest arrived. Other guests have to drag their cases to the lifts themselves and we felt no one cares about service in this hotel. The gym is a separate building and costs 14 euros per person per day which is not explained in the hotel details and so they dont really have a gym or a pool its just attached near to the conference facilities. This is a good hotel if you having a conference there otherwise avoid it at all costs as its more like a poorly run 3 * hotel than a 5* hotel.
Design of the hotel was beutiful and confortable, view of the hotel are breathtaking.
Very expensive mini bar- bottle of water 6 euro. No much around the hotel going on, need to travel central all the time fpor any entertainment. Extra cherges for the swimming pool and jacuzzi facility.
Lack of kettle and tea/coffee sachets as standard. Quite insulting you have to pay for this. I have stayed in many 2/3/4 star hotels and have never come across this. Sort it out
The nice rooms.
