I have to travel to Madrid quite often for work and have stayed in some horrible hotels around the same area as this one but this one was real quality. It was a last minute booking as I was getting a flight the next day so I think there was an offer on as it was quite cheap. The room was super modern, clean, amazing shower, friendly staff!
The only thing missing is a gym or pool
Dirty and badly maintained. Tap hanging off, dirty carpet, dirty bed dresser, food jamed in romote control, glass shelf hanging off the wall. So much air/carpet freshener used it made us feel sick. Not good.
Clean room. Excellent bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.
In general everything was good apart from the bed
The bed was impossibly hard and noisy when I made any movement. I would have stayed there again but for the fact of the terible bed I had a poor nights sleep and so cannot recommend the hotel and will not be using the hotel again. A REAL PITY AS IT WAS A GOOD LOCATION........
Good location if you want to be in Salamanca (if you want to be in centre of Madrid, maybe choose another hotel or one on a metro line to centre), otherwise easy to get around on buses from out front. Many shops, restaurants and a supermarket (el corte) nearby, safe area. Excellent staff on the whole, providing tips and answering any questions. Comfortable and very quiet rooms (especially the bed) and good that you can turn off the 'blue lights' (which are a feature of the hotel photos, but a bit odd). Made use of the free city bikes (I think there are only two, so maybe reserve ahead if you want to use them). Would stay here again without hesitation.
A little expensive, but on par with others in Madrid.
New,modern, clean & large family rooms that sleep 5, ipad available at request is great
No tea/coffee facilities in room (kettle etc) that's poor & not much privacy in bathroom with it being all glass even though some of it is frosted glass it's still visible through it
Nearby market place with spanish food
Location was good distance from central Madrid. Closest station was Colon. Wifi was always good and shower was powerful. Interesting décor. Cleaned daily.
The room was a smoking room however we didn't smoke in the room yet every time we returned the smell of smoke was stronger. Probably wouldn't have paid 500EUR for it (we got it on a deal for 50%). All channels in Spanish but to be expected!
Good breakfast choice, dark room for sleeping, good wifi
Odd depressingly dark corridors, weird conceptual gloomy design that doesn't work, the bathroom floor was covered in water when we arrived. The place smells of cigarettes a little bit. Seem to place design over quality. Location is fairly central but there are better places for the same money. Rooms too small to comfortably open 2 suitcases
Location Hepful staff nice rooms fast internet good shower
stay had to end
The shower is just excellent, one of those full-body things with a half dozen nozzles. Very quiet, private and high class - the location on the edge of Salamanca is a bit of a walk to the old center of Madrid, but a very quick cab ride; and there are plenty of quality restaurants and everything a minute away on foot.
Beds are very firm, though comfortable. Some like it that way, anyhow. The lobby and room deco is a bit '80s but everything is very new and modern.
location is excelent
I didnt like the rooms, they had neon lights under the bed, they look like a cheap place, and was old, so it looked not clean due to the use.
Great location, walk to Ave Serrano and Castellano. Free WiFi everywhere! Very friendly staff. Also Pet Friendly! Rooms modern, clean and comfortable.
Elevators extremely hot inside! Like a sauna. I kept thinking if the elevators were to break down, you would die in there. They need to change the light bulbs which create the heat, and use fluorescent or LED. Mentioned this to the staff, we'll see what happens on my next trip.
This four star hotel do not have tea or coffee facilities, breakfast must be better than now , they do not have airport transfer, small old TV,
Ripped blankets, small towels, dirty
mucho rato para dar la habitación
The room is fun and has unexpected features: uplighting from the floor in a cool blue, a glass bathroom wall with tree design, great shower, bathroom scale. The breakfast buffet was very well done.
Not be informed the daily parking price. Cleanliness of breakfast food area. Some degradation of the materials in the rooms.
Helpful staff at reception desk. clean and comfortable room. Airco.
great location good value for money clean rooms good service fun hotel
we had a family room for four friends and it was frankly too small for us. esp. with no latch in bathroom and glass doors it can get weird if you are concerned about privacy or others hearing you take a poop!
The bed was terribly hard, avoid this place unless you like sleeping on the floor.
helpfull staff ; clean rooms ; good location
walking distance to the all the major shopping areas in Madrid
The bar not lively
