Hotel Hispano 2    

Need to take keys from room in the other hotel.

Location was good , ideal for cathedral and city centre ,clean and comfortable .

We did not like the new restaurant, it does not have the character of the old one, it was also uncomfortable having breakfast there when you could only sit at the bar on bar stools ,as they closed the rest of the restaurant off .

Very central

The hotel needs a little updating

The hotel was clean and very central. For the price it was just plain good but not as good as the ratings on the website say it is.

The staff were not that friendly. The barman at breakfast was unfriendly and showed no interest in his job. It seemed older couples got more attention. Dont count on the included contonental breakfast. One hour after the breakfast buffet opened it was depleted and no staff member refilled it. We ended up having only a coffee for breakfast and went to a nearby pastry shop for breakfast. The hotel rooms are noisy. We found it difficult to sleep because we heard out next door neighbours TV and then their snoring. The fridge didn't work and looked like it hadn't worked for a long time but was just left in the room to it appear as though the hotel had room fridges. The toilet leaked and we had to turn off the water supply when we were not using it. Only one very high pillow per bed. If you like two pillows or a soft small pillow bring your own. Parking in the town was fairly difficult to find. We ended up in an underground parking about 400m from the hotel which and cost around 23 euros for 24 hours. The free wireless was very very slow.

the hotel is central for Murcia, the reception staff good and the restaurant opposite the hotel is very good

Superb location in the heart of the city centre. It had all the facilities we required and requested, including walk in showers, windows that open, lift etc. Thankfully the rooms were air conditioned as outside it was over 36C during our stay! The toilet had the most powerful flush I have ever encountered anywhere. It was a pure masterpiece of engineering. The guys on the reception were very helpful.

The breakfast selection was a bit limited but the man looking after us was so helpful it more than made up for it.

Excellent location within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, university etc.

Extremely hard to find. Must park underground. Hotel can not be driven to. Streets are very narrow with many of them one way. Drove in circles for an hour.

Breakfast and Breakfast room was poor. Could do with a re-furb. It was advertised as a 4 star but only turned out to be a 3 star.

I liked the hotel because it was a very simple, comfortable and friendly place to stay. Although it was fairly basic it was very clean, air-conditioned and the staff were very helpful. The location could not be beaten for a city break as it is in the middle of the old town.

it was an old charming older hotel, found the staff, and reception area, very helpful.... and we are coming back in septmber for an over night stay. and we will recomend this hotel to anyone we know. thank you for pleasant stay.... steve and julie abrams,

difficult parking....

The Central location - close to everything in Murcia including the bus station. Price - v reasonable. Reception staff very good and helpful. Allowed me print off boarding pass. Excellent guys. Will be back

Friendly staff and perfect situated in town-center close to the cathedral. We will for sure choose Hispano next time we visit Murcia.

Hair dryer in room was not very functional . Apart from that everything was up to good standard.

Central location, great price and the best breakfast we got all week in Spain. Can't praise highly enough a man named Paco who couldn't do enough to help us and serve us at breakfast, he made our holiday great.

Breakfast starts too late: 8:00 am, if one has an early appointment in another city.

So near main street. As my daughter is in murcia for 4 months she is staying near by so it was easy for her to get to us. Staff so nice and helpful I would highly recommend it. The cleanliness and location perfect.

I wouldn't hesitate to return to Hispano 2 Hotel. It couldn't be in a better location, the staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable, the attention to cleanliness couldn't have been better. The breakfast and restaurant was ten out of ten and the overall customer service was clearly a priority for this establishment.

thin walls between bathrooms, would have been helpful to have room info printed in Engish especially as the staff spoke little or no English

the location was spot on, the hotel was family friendly, the breakfast provided more than expected, room well laid out, plus a safe in the room, very clean, very friendly members of staff, ie- from cleaners to reception and catering ,all very polite and attentive,provided route maps, ( so easy to follow). I WILL BE BACK TIME AND TIME AGAIN, Please give them a visit- you will not be dissapointed
