Liked nothing, really.
Really, Nothing. It is the ugliest place I have ever stayed at. And that's that. The thought of having to spend a holiday here is giving me nightmares. In fairness - I stayed one night only, as I was passing through and had no dealings with anybody other than reception for check in and out. Nothing to mention here. They checked us in... and out. The security felt a bit OTT, but sure, if they think its needed to guard an empty hotel like that - jobs are rare in Spain. I am truly surprised that nobody has fallen to their death in this building. Let's just say it's not for anybody who suffers from vertigo. I don't - and I still stayed very close to the wall when having to negotiate the 'corridors'.... On the other hand - I was close to just throw myself down into the bird cage after having heard Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Elevator Version) for the fifth time in lesser minutes ( it seemed....) - piped throughout the entire hotel and into the room - it took a little while to find the control disguised as a air con control on the wall.... Anybody condemned to spend an entire holiday here with their family or alone, should consider a retrial. It's worth it, this is the ultimate punishment - topped only by an experience with the Alfa Hotel in Amsterdam - but that's another story...
Great food, beautiful building, nice room, lovely staff, good activities for both kids and adults. Really relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. Quiet at night time. We were here 17/9/14 for 7 nights. Would go back again.
It's very hard to fault this hotel the only two things I can say were that the air con in the room was pretty noisy so I didn't sleep very well the first few nights. Also on booking.com it said 4 single beds so I assumed there were 2 bedrooms in a junior suite, not so. We had one bedroom and the sofa had 2 singles when pulled out. Saying that they were comfortable beds. Also more cereals for breakfast for the kids. Put teaspoons besides cereal table to that you don't have to go off trekking to the tea/coffee area to get them. But food great and a huge selection of everything you could think of. Well done.
Vip area at water park should cater for more people. Lunch bookings at water park should be more flexible.
Location Beach Park/Water Park Clean hotel This is a family hotel - don't go here as a couple! Junior suites are very nice. Sea view is excellent
Food - awful, cheap, poor choice Some staff quite 'offish' No food after 9.30pm other than room service until 10pm - be careful if you arrive late, you will go hungry. Entertainment - very mixed. Reception rarely answer the phone. Be aware of what is/isn't all-inclusive! First room smelt of sewage - took 2 nights to move us. Regimented!
The rooms looked lovely and foyer was lovely
Food extremely disappointing, many of the facilities advertised are at an extra charge. the indoor children's play area is only for kids 3 and over who are in kids club children under 3 cannot use this area unless you use babysitting service, if you do not want to use this they cannot use area as adults are not allowed in with them. the same goes for the park area with swings. Food was basically the same every night. We did not feel that this holiday was value for money.
the pool and the beach club kids club activities very spacious feeling all around
they charge for towel exchange (1 euro, but still), to get to the bowling you need to pass all sorts of games, all of which cost money very noisy in the evening: if you have young children and plan to have a quiet night at 22:00 forget it, windows don't shut properly and the music is incredibly loud!
The junior suite was v.spacious, with plenty storage for 4 people. Buffet was great with plenty variety, our 6 yr old especially liked it when the chocolate fountain was on! Plenty of great entertainment at night for all ages.
Expected to be nearer Benalmadena, had to use the local bus to get into the centre of town or Fuengirola.
The hotel was very clean and rooms were excellent , food a plenty for all tastes most enjoyable
Location was isolated from surrounding towns nothing really in the vicinity
Nice Place, Nice location, Good Staff.
The rooms were great and very comfortable
We were not given the option of eating in the 3 restaurants within the hotel, we were simply and rudely told 'no' by reception. It does state how far the hotel is away from other places to eat so you don't really have much of a choice, but to eat in the hotel. The buses are awful and two service is shocking. We tries to get to Marbs 3 times and sat waiting and hour and half - not great with a wee one. The staff are rude at reception and trying to get information out of them is hard work. We paid through the hotel and not thompsons, and paid more- assuming we would get a better choice of food and drink- all we got was Smirnoff vodka. Not sure I would return to this hotel.
Had to be moved 3 times before we got a room with electricity, then air con, reception staff really unhelpful, paid for 3 days all inclusive, got there early hours and as had to change rooms we missed out on the very average food they left out so basically paid 3 days for 2 days
The choice of food and the rooms were good . The bar staff good
Beds much too hard . No coffee or tea in the room and when you consider all inclusive this would have been nice.
Room decor was nice
Food was terrible - raw meet served on many occasions, and presentation a complete mess. Staff attitude bad. Guest services poor. Everything is extra money. Spa is more like a creche with kids around - not relaxing at all. Train passed next to hotel all day, every day. Some parts not open - bars and night entertainment closed. Broken glass found around pool. Crazy golf course damaged beyond use. Complaints to staff about service ignored. Over priced rate from booking.com compared to other guests paying a fraction of the cost. Terrible terrible hotel!
Child friendly, clean, good facilities.
Beds, low quality wifi, food selection just ok.
The location is good, nice to be away from the towns, dont be put off, hotel bus takes you down the hill and happy to travel on the local bus to Benalmadena & Fuengirola. The birds/turtles around the hotel The safety of the hotel The bowling alley/arcades downstairs!! Ideal to keep the kids busy
Hotel interior nice rooms and bathrooms, good facilities for children.
There were loads of long hairs all over the floor in the room and bathroom - the floor hadn't been swept or cleaned properly. There could have been more vegetarian options at dinner.
The facilities, organisation, activities and general layout of the hotel is excell. it is spacious and very relaxing.
The rooms were comfortable however I would have preferred a more comfortable sofa and also better chairs and tables on the terrace.
The staff were very nice and friendly. Most of the facilities were open including Beach Club and outdoor swimming pool although the weather was a bit chilly. My kids enjoyed playing mini golf, ping pong, billiard, bowling as well as swimming.
It is a good hotel if you stay with under 5 child. However mine were teenagers and we wanted to stay in a quiter hotel: no kids running around in the restaurant as well as in the spa. I wondered why parents didn't stop them but I thought I had just picked a wrong hotel.
The hotel was not on the beach as described. The staff was rude and too few to help in this sized hotel. We were treated as if we might steal something at any moment. We were charged extra for towels, internet and only allowed 1 hour in the spa facility for our entire stay. The food was horrible and the noise level was ridiculous with music playing outside all night long. The hotel was tired-looking and cold with too few elevators for the amount of people. Much of the resort was not open at the beginning of April and we had to walk over 1/2 mile just to get to the beach or the water park.
Beautiful resort, a lot to do for a family with young children.
Food was a bit repetitive for the breakfast.
The view was great sea with mountain The breakfast was good as view variety and the huge space for the restaurant was good
The address of the hotel in the booking. Com is not right should update The number of staff ( only one on the reception for huge number of rooms is not enough ) Differences in the package included in the booking site and in the actual package when we arrive there we were disappointed when booked room with breakfast in booking while in the hotel was different was only room without breakfast Put in your mind that all facilities in the hotel description is working only in the summer if you book to enjoy swimming or water park. Cleanliness was not in a good standard . The idea that you have to pay 10 euro for the TV remote control is a bit strange and should be mentioned in the hotel policies. You have to pay for the internet 5 euro per hour
nothing was open
