Hostal Tarifa offers a privileged location, only 5 minutes’ walk from both the beach and Tarifa’s old town. It features air-conditioned rooms, on site private parking and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1163 reviews Very good
Set in the heart of this charming town, Hostal Alameda provides a great base to explore Tarifa and the surrounding landscape of the Costa de la Luz.
Score from 260 reviews Good
The Tarik guesthouse is just 10 minutes from the beach in the historic quarter of Tarifa – the most southern point of Spain. It offers free Wi-Fi.

Nice staff, clean room, fresh smell of air in the room, 15 min to the beach, nice breakfast, free parking, I will come back next year:-)
Close to centre
Air con not the best.
Staff were helpful and loaned us a phone charger. No issues with check in / check out
Friendly staff, clean rooms with all basics
Thin walls (noise from street was heard). We expected a little more for this price.
It was amazing! The girl's sweetness and kindness in the reception gave us really warm welcome. And they were as nice and helpful that we cancelled our plans and stayed in Tarifa for a while. Our room was SUPER AMAZING! The terrace which we had is the one what you want for yourself in your dream home! There are no words for the beautiful view what we had on the terrace! They clean everything every day and also the breakfast is very nice, just like all the people in this hotel! We loved each person! The location is perfect because it is not in the middle of the tourist area but you can find yourself on the beach or in the old town by a 5-8 minutes walk. If you are looking for something they will tell you the best place where to go to eat, beach, whale watch, ride horses or kite surfing, etc... Everything was good and we hope we can come back again and again. This city is a great idea to come in the summer and this hotel made our days in Tarifa great and marvelous!!!
Breakfast, room "Marakesh", nice staff
very clean and close to dining, pubs etc.
Matresses were very comfortable. Reception staff was very friendly.
Clean and modern hotel with helpful staff and good breakfast selection! 10 minute walk from the centre. Parking outside which was an added bonus.
We didn't realise the desk wouldn't be open when we arrived after 2pm - in the small print it says to contact them if you are going to arrive with in these times so that they can arrange to welcome you - just something to be aware of - not a problem otherwise.
If you are looking for a quite place with easy access to parking, the location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance. Was given a choice of rooms when arrived. Checked in late and had a staff member waiting for me. Very clean place.
Window right on the sidewalk, if you are a sensitive sleeper - avoid. I am not, so had excellent sleep.
Good value for money clean some wear to park outside
Very clean and very helpful staff
Very helpful and friendly staff. Relaxed late breakfasts, private garden terrace with room, closeness to Algeciras bus stop, health centre and Lidl.Welcomed Fridge in clean room.
Although room was spacious and caught the sun early morning, dark grey paint for walls late in the day (New York suite) can be a bit depressing if you are not going out, though probably a fine colour in high summer. Tokyo room looked warm and inviting with orange and white by comparisson.
Small breakfast (even if a room description it's not mentioned). Relatively new facilities and lot of white color (that needs more care from the staff and means cleanness :)) Very comfortable bed! Nice staff (probably the family that owns the Hostal) speaking English.
The walls in the room somewhere needed to be repaired
We stayed one night in the tokio room . Large , quiet , clean enough with a sunny terrace .. perfect.
Free internet, free parking, nice clean & modern room, free breakfast snack, handy walking distance to town.
Sometimes the service was a little slow. Didn't bother us but may bother others.
Parking and wifi are free. Staff very friendly. Very nice room, comfortable bed, air conditioning. Breakfast basic, but good.
Not hotels fault, but my room was very noisy. Even though not on the main road, there was a lot of passing trafic, mostly motorbikes, which kept me awake for most of the night.
We stayed for 5 days in the beginning of October in the swit called Paris - the room was excellent: clean, nicely and stylishly furnished, comfortable. The price was also very good for being off-season for the room like that. Breakfast was totallly ok, as for 3-stars hotel standard.
-not cenrally placed, but in the small town as Tarifa it took 15 min walk to the beach instead of 10, which is more than ok.
Room was really nice like the idea of themed rooms and the breakfast was nice there was cereal, toast, yogurt and fruit avalable and tea, coffee and juice. It was also close the the town so didnt have far to walk 10mins that is all.
Everything is new
Noise from street - rooms right on pavement
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very inviting. The rooms were very spacious, immaculate and of very modern design.
Could possible have more variety for breakfast, basically the had Cornflakes and Brown bread! Also some thicker doors!!!!!
Suite (Marrakesh) nicely designed although room fairly dark caused by the large partion across the terrace. Comfy bed and pillows, nice bathroom and shower, excellent wifi in the room. Strange location in residential area but suited us. Easy to leave the car and get in and out of Tarifa which can get congested. Let us leave our luggage for 3 days while we went off to Morroco.
Surprisingly noisy. Dark room. Terrace and terrace furniture quite dirty. Breakfast of the long-life/instant variety with zero effort put into it. Very disappointing and not worth having. Overpriced for what it is.
The staff was friendly.
The rooms on the ground floor are actually below the ground level. Our windows were overlooking pedestrians' legs. The hotel is not that close to the centre, it's about 7 minutes by foot.
