Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und geräumig. Daher ist sie auch für mehrere Personen und einen längeren Aufenthalt besonders geeignet. Die Lage ist zentral, jedoch gleichzeitig auch sehr ruhig. Grazalema gehört sicher zu den schönsten Orten Andalusiens. Naturliebhaber sind hier bestens aufgehoben und haben viele Möglichkeiten zu Outdoor-Aktivitäten. An kälteren Tagen kann man sich kuschelig am Kamin wärmen. Im Ort gibt es zahlreiche schöne Tapas-Bars mit freundlichem Service.

Am allerbesten hat uns die Küche vom Hospederia gefallen. Eigentlich haben wir dort nur gebucht, weil ein Vorbucher auf booking.com Bewertungen sehr für die Küche geschwärmt hatte. Und es ist eine fantastische Küche!!!!! Von vier Abenden haben wir dort vier Abende gegessen und sind in´s Paradies der andalusischen Küche entführt worden!! Wirklich unglaublich. Mit uns noch ein englisches Ehepaar, welches immer wieder abends anreiste aus einem weiter entfernten Ort. Vielen Dank an diesen genialen Koch!!! Aber auch die anderen Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Im Haus herrscht eine freundliche Atmosphäre. Heizung im Zimmer und ein Kamin im gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum, die bei niedrigen Temparaturen auch funktionieren.

Bei diesem günstigen Preis hatten wir nicht mit so viel Komfort gerechnet. Das angeschlossene Restaurant bot ein Degustationsmenü der Spitzenklasse an, das uns über das Regenwetter hinweggetröstet hat.

Das frisch gebackene, lockere, knusprige Schwarzbrot zum Abendessen. Das gediegene Ambiente.

What a village! A very pictoresque place. We stayed in one of the hotel's apartments and everything was really nice. The apartments are not in the same adress as the hotel, not far at all but uphill, so beware... Driving in the village streets was quite an experience, but we got the car nicely parked right at the apartment door. Friendly staff and good restaurant.

The apartment was somewhat cold and humid. Eventhough a small village, the streets can be surprisingly noisy - people have to drive quite fast to get uphill...

We had a comfortable room in a beautiful old building. The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was good. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it.

It's usefully located at the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park and a cosy hideaway with no pretensions. Also has a very decent restaurant for an establishment of its ranking.

Basic,Rustic but clean family Hotel close to all the bars and restaurants in this lovely white Spanish village/Pueblo.Ideal for Hikers and Birdwatchers.We managed to park outside the Hotel but left it there for the duration to avoid losing the space.There are a number of Restaurants within easy walking distance for good value 'Menu of the Day'.Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this Hotel.

It was an apartment in the village of Grazelema, within easy walk of town square. Plenty of space in the apartment, facilities inc fridge, stove, microwave, even washing machine. Parking was available (free). That is a bonus in Spain! Staff very helpful.

One thing only. The shower was so tiny that anyone over 1.80 metres tall or 80kgs in weight would have had trouble using it.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in the quiet town. It had a shared internal courtyard which was a very pleasant outside space. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful and responded promptly to any requirements. The hotel's restaurant was very good with excellent dishes and good value for money.

The apartment was situated up a long hill which might be a problem for an older person who is not terribly fit.

A fine place to stay: comfortable ... close to everything in town ... heater in room was greatly appreciated.

Log fires in lounge and heating in room on a cold wet day. Spacious and simple decorated. Lovely situation.

Breakfast very poor compared to evening meal.

My partner and I just returned from our stay at Casa de las Piedras. We had a wonderful time in Grazalema and the hotel was very good value for money. Our room was basic, yet I found it to be comfortable, and it had a degree of charm with attractive floor tiles and pretty woven curtains. There is a large living room downstairs which had comfy chairs and an open fire burning the whole time we were there. I spent some time reading in front of the fire which was very homely. The hotel displays a large collection of oil paintings. I assume this is a collection of work by local artists, as a lot of the paintings feature Grazalema. The buffet breakfast had enough variety and was good value for money. The restaurant also had a dinner service which we used once and which was nice. The rest of the evenings we visited local restaurants and had tapas in bars. The town has many nice and affordable places to eat. Grazalema is a beautiful place to stay and is perfect for hiking, which is how we spent a lot of our time. The surrounding mountains have a lot of wonderful walks that have breathtaking views. We didn't have a car but we managed to get around on foot and relying on the odd bus service. This was a bit hard as some of the villages in the area have only one/two buses a day. The hotel staff were very kind and provided us with a taxi service (it was their own vehicle). They took us half an hour by car to Zahara and back, They also waited for us for two hours while we explored the town. Zahara is astonishingly beautiful and worth spending money to see if you haven't got a car. Unfortunately, there is no bus fro Grazalema to Zahara but I recommend asking about the taxi service at the reception. The tourist information office in the town is also a very helpful service. The guy spoke very good english and helped us with organizing permits for some the walks in protected areas.

It could be a bit too creaky and frayed at the edges for some peoples tastes but that didn't bother us.

Very friendly, inexpensive hotel in Grazalema and an ideal location for the mountains.
