Super friendly staff, very efficient. Delicous food in a great atmosphere.Beds were very comfortable.
The plumbing in our room was bizarre. When the toilet was flushed it made a sound like a braying donkey. No cigarette machine.
We loved the individually designed rooms with quirky touches. It makes a pleasant change to stay in a converted monastery which retains it's charm and yet has modern en suite facilities. The views above the town were especially stunning at night and the terrace for dining is quite a feature with the pool alongside. The half board option was good value as we found the evening meal to be delicious. The breakfast is the usual buffet which was just satisfactory.
The steps to the rooms could be a problem for the less mobile and the hotel was quite difficult to find. It was only because we knew that it overlooked the town that we headed in the right direction and found it. No tea making facilities in the room but this is the norm in most Spanish hotels.
Like town of Osuna. Hotel deal of half board not expensive but unexceptional.
Childrens party in full swing for several hours after we arrived so not very peaceful! Allocated disabled room near all activity, not sure why. Staff largely engrossed in dealing with partygoers, but very polite etc.
Very characteristic setting, beautiful location and view. The staff was helpful, the room spot on, the only thing is that the swimming pool could be cleaner.
Very peaceful location.Very sympathetically restored.Friendly and helpful staff. Pool and patio area.Would definitely return.
No meals available on Monday evenings (day off for staff).
Lovely location, ambience, really intimate quiet and restful. Staff were very helpful. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.. We had a wonderful stay.
Breakfast was adequate , could have been more choice. Plumbing noisy when flushing toilet. Some noisy alarm sounded every morning. Not sure what that was for but was happening every morning.
- NO REFRIGERATOR in the ROOM, in summer is essential.... - Noise from Restaurant guest till 3 am. Restaurant to very closed to the room, should be -closed at 1am.
Fantastic location, with outstanding views.Welcoming staff, good food ,clean airy rooms, exceptional value for money.Would definitely return
The location looking over the cathedral and the monastery was beautiful, and I loved waking up to the church bells. Our room's interior with marble floors and wooden shudders was like something out of Romeo and Juliet movie. From our second floor suite, we had a view of the town and surrounding countryside and the pool. Breakfast was low key, but I was able to feed my new addiction to tomato, toast and olive oil washed down with typically awesome Spanish coffee. The bartender offered to delivered my wine to my lounge chair by the pool, and the staff was kind and approachable. Very little English spoke, but the were patient with our floundering attempts at Spanish. It was a wonderful stay! Not a 5 star corporate hotel...something much better!
The hotel was in a beautiful setting on a hill above Osuna. It took 4 minutes to walk to the Plaza Mayor. The staff were very friendly and the food in the Restaurant was well presented and great value for money. The large screen set up for the World Cup games was a real bonus.
The amazing place in beautiful city.
The stuff was awful. They serving us the worst breakfast in my live (scrambled-eggs from microwave).
Balcony view with sun shade and access to food and drinks. Quiet room and comfortable beds.
Steep climb to hotel!Pool could have been a bit cleaner.
Old monastery renewed. Fabulous rooms and facilities. The atmosphere is amazing. Location could not be better, great views to the city.
Fantastic location, very interesting hotel, good service. Will stay there again.
Staff were very helpful but badly organised, (maybe it was the very start of the season)
The rustic surroundings and evening meal
Excellent hotel with lots of character. Sympathetically restored to show off the features of this lovely old building. To try the tapas there is a must! And the beds are so comfortable - best found so far!
We weren´t offered much choice at breakfast. Perhaps it was our responsibility to state our preferences but some notice or list of suggestions at the bar would help. Not really a negative - more a suggestion!
The Building and the surrounding area are gorgeous!
The receptionist had already left and there was no sign directing us once the reception was closed. After founding the restaurant, the girl who served us dinner checked us in as she could. The room was very cold because the heating was not on, very important detail in a room with direct outdoor access. The phone over the nightstand was unplugged. The dining room was a mess, there was dust everywhere, the meal was served directly on the table with glass top with no towel and the chairs were too big for the tables and very uncomfortable. During dinner, we had to send back a salmon that was undercooked and lost part of the dressing, the desserts were not homemade appearance as you would expect in a city with so much history. Breakfast was even worse... was not a buffet and we had to ask what we wanted without a list, halfway through the meal the lady who served us disappeared and we had to finish breakfast earlier.
We had wonderful rooms (junior Suits) with a terrace overlooking the monastery and the town. The staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant was good and as well value for money.
breakfast was very simple, but sufficient
Excellent room, great terrace , lovely surrounding buildings., really nice interesting hotel.
Poor breakfast only coffee , bread roll and juice.
Very good hotel with very good facilites. Very good Restaurant as well, with very good chef's. Beautiful city with lot's of places to visit.
Breakfast could be better. During the morning, the employee had to serve breakfast and attend the reception. Low season ... few employees to lower costs.
The setting and buildings were beautiful. Hotel and rooms nicely decorated.
We didn't have any hot water until the morning but the staff were helpful and gave us a discount. No food served as it was a Monday night.
Great friendly staff, very helpful and offering useful local knowledge. Funky comfortable rooms, appealing environment.
Architecture, room comfort, views,
Worst breakfast we've ever had in Spain! Glass of orange, coffee, 1 piece dry bread, packet pate or jam. Cold dining room in winter.
We stayed at Osuna so that we would be able to reach Seville in good time the next day. It is not a tourist location in any way. The hotel was OK but the room was extremely dark.
The rooms at the hotel were extremely dark. We were first given a room in the basement level with a tiny window that barely was above ground. When we asked for a different room we were given one on the main level with the same tiny window that barely let in any light. It was quite depressing.
