Staff were very friendly - we were leaving too early to have breakfast so they made us up a picnic to take with us - nice decor inside
the small streets make noise outside echo to a very loud level, so dont go to bed and leave your window open
The hotel is charming with a beautiful central lobby. Each room has its own name not a number. There are shops and bars all around the hotel.
a little extra service would have been great.
Superb location. Very nice building with a picturesque inner courtyard. Within a five minuts walk you have literary hundreds of small tapas bars and very good restaurants. The room we had was fairly small but very nice and immaculately clean.
Do yourself a favor and book a room without breakfast. There's nothing wrong with the variety of food (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc) but everything is tasteless, carelessly served and just about luke warm. We had to ask for orange juice both mornings and there were almost no preserves etc etc. Save the money for a nice breakfast in town!
Style. High ceilings.
King size bed had a ridge in it. Outside of hotel unprepossessing.
the traditional feeling of an elderly hotel. Historic features such as rooms named after famous local people. Always someone at reception.
The location was great -- very central. We had a quite room. Staff very helpful. Room was adequate and clean. Plenty of hot water. A/C worked very well. Hotel staff managed to get our laundry done sameday.
Very difficult to locate hotel. Hotel's parking facility was also difficult to find and maneuver to. Public areas of hotel were a bit shabby. No wifi in lobby. We had room San Juan de Dios and although quite, window was by room's entry door and looked onto light shaft and didn't supply any fresh air. Overall, thought it was a bit expensive for what we got.
Fabulous sun terrace.
Very loud sat night until 4 AM
Staff friendly, hotel very central.
Room dark but it was quiet. Parking difficult to find initially but you then realise is as close to the hotel as it can be.
the style of the hotel
the room was dark noise from the water pipes
The staff were extremely friendly, happy and helpful. The room was clean and had all the facilities we required. The shower was wonderful! Comfortable and clean bed.
Would have liked an extra bottle of shampoo and shower gel as we had finished them with our afternoon shower! Otherwise was lovely.
Great Location. Has an elevator which is great for suitcases. Nice staff and clean.
Beds were too hard.
the staff was accomodating
noisy street outside
WiFi Clean Friendly
No windos in bedroom A/C didn't work properly - still freezing at 27 degrees, but you need air when there is no other source of ventilation
Spent night in the room with the window overlooking a noisy street, also thin walls - bad luck if you have neighbours watching tv at 2am
- best position in the old town - nice ambient - interesting room numbers/-names - nice rooms - clean rooms - good price - fully acceptable breakfast
- complicated park place situation - car loading in front of the hotel is impossible
Great location for exploring the old part of town, only a stroll from the Thursday night jazz and blues bar which is a must do!
The room was small but we were in there only to sleep and it was quiet with all the windows shut despite being just above a busy pedestrian street.
Good location, with possibility of parking nearby. Friendly staff. My husband loved the city.
Expensive parking and poor cleanliness
I was given a room without a window when I arrived - felt like a cell but I liked the way the receptionist immediately changed the room for one with a window
The hotel looks very nice and the staff is very welcoming. Perfect location to easily walk to all interesting places.
The place is quite noisy which makes it difficult to get a good night sleep.
It was a dream coming true thanks to Las Cortes, everything was perfect, especially the warmth and honesty of the staff)))
convenient to everything in the old town. excellent secure parking close by.
