Hotel Hospes Maricel y Spa    

I stayed in Maricel whilst visiting friends on the island, I invited them to the hotel for dinner and had a great evening filled with delicious food and friendly waiters.

No good restaurants in close proximity therefore stayed in hotel.

Beautiful hotel right by the sea with spectacular views and beautiful interior. We tried the hotels special two-hour testing breakfast which was a great experience in itself and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Mallorca.

The only thing to penalize would be the outside surrounding of the hotel as it does not have much to offer, therefore we spent most of our time in the nice terrace of the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Great staff, nice atmosphere and wonderful food.

Great location right on the sea

The particular area of Mallorca in which the hotel is situated, and Mallorca in general, is a bit ugly with no nice restaurants, bars, shops etc nearby.

Fairly exclusive and private feel about the hotel. Staff were very good. Service was fairly good.

Location poor. Room prior to change and extra costs, Noisy, on road and not at all what we expected for 419 euro per night. We did request quiet room. Not at all worth the 469 Euros per night we paid after having to upgrade !!!!!!!! B&B Very, very expensive to eat and drink and whilst we do not mind this if the hotel is up to the mark, this hotel definitely did not warrant the prices, which of course is why is was practically empty most evenings (even when the live jazz was featuring). Very very boring and would not go again. Room (even after upgrade into the main building) was inferior.

Amazing location and place to relax in the sun. Good pool and great access to the sea. Very comfotable environment and particularly good for couples.

The economy is clearly impacting this hotel which is a shame. The food left a lot to be desired. Expensive but poor quality and often luke warm. Very indifferent service and little consistency with the breakfast buffet. Staff lacked mature supervision, and worst of all......staff in the Spa dont appear to be trained properly. This resulted in injury which is being addressed with the hotel.

Bad war nach Duschen immer überschwemmt, wenig Platz im Zimmer für Kleidung

Niesamowita kuchnia i wyjątkowa obsługa w restauracji.

Mimo niewielu gości w hotelu, w dniu wyjazdu już o 11:30 stała osoba pod drzwiami pokoju i dopytywała się o pomoc w wynoszeniu bagaży. Bardzo natarczywie pytała co 10 minut czy już może.

El personal ha sido muy correcto, atento. La habitación fantástica, los pequeños detalles... Las vistas fantásticas. El Spa, la ubicación, arquitectura me ha encantado. Fantástico para reljarse y desconectar.

El acceso al spa ha de hacerse por fuera del hotel, la incomodidad de que no haya un acceso directo interno.

Lo que más me ha gustado ha sido la tranquilidad, la situación y las maravillosas vistas a la bahía de Palma. El trato del personal, tanto de recepción o del bar restaurante excelente, muy atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. De entrada ya nos ofrecieron una habitación superior a la contratada y me enseñaron las habitaciones para que pudiera comparar. Al final me cedieron una suite, con una terraza maravillosa con unas vistas panorámicas a la piscina y al mar. Resumiendo una estancia maravillosa e inolvidable

No es que no me haya gustado, sino que intentando hacer una crítica constructiva, tendrían que mejorar la temperatura en el spa y sobre todo la del agua de la piscina supuestamente climatizada, estaba fría y al ser un spa abierto hacía frio. Teniendo encuenta que estabamos en el mes de diciembre y parte de las piscina es exterior.

La entrada al hall es impresionante, el edificio principal es monumental. Te atienden inmediatamente, con muchísima amabilidad, y mientras te sirven un aperitivo de bienvenida con vistas a la terraza y al mar, se ocupan de arreglar el papeleo y subirte todo el equipaje a la habitación. Nuestra habitación era preciosa, muy completa, y con una terraza imponente, con sofá, mesa, tumbonas y vistas a la piscina del hotel y al mar, (aunque había alguna tabla suelta en el parquet, lo cual no es propio de un cinco estrellas). El amanecer y la puesta de sol son espectaculares. El trato del personal es exquisito. El spa es muy completo en cuanto a tratamientos de belleza, aunque un poco caro. El desayuno se sirve en la terraza, hay de todo, con un buffet libre muy rico y variado, y con posibilidad de solicitar otros platos que preparan al momento (huevos, crêpes...). Muy recomendable. Nos pondremos a ahorrar para poder volver con buen tiempo y disfrutar de la piscina y el mar además de la terraza.

El circuito de spa es muy bonito, pero no tiene la calidad de un cinco estrellas (sauna pequeña, baño turco con ruido, y jacuzzi con el agua no muy caliente).

Trato excelente a la altura de un 5 estrellas.

Nuestra estancia en Hospes Maricel ha sido una auténtica delicia. Lo reservamos con mucha ilusión y no nos ha defraudado, todo lo contrario, vamos a recordar esta estancia siempre. Tiene una ubicación excelente, la vista al mar impresionante y acceso directo al mar. Conseguí relajarme en la habitación, muy cómoda y confortable. El desayuno calificado como el mejor del mundo, a mi me pareció una maravilla,de calidad. Es servicio muy atento y profesional, estuvieron pendientes de nuestras necesidades en todo momento. Sin duda la próxima visita a Palma también será a este hotel
