The building is a 19th Century baronial mansion and has been renovated and decorated by the Hospes design team. Located in the fashionable area of Valencia, 500 metres from the city centre and Turia gardens. Hospes Palau de la Mar makes art and fantasy its essential ingredients. A delicate surprise in an innovative city.
The Hospes Palau de la Mar has 66 elegant and modern rooms.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at the Gourmet Senzone restaurant.

The Bodyna Spa is located at the hotel's courtyard and has 3 massage rooms, offering massages and treatments. A jacuzzi pool, sauna, Turkish bath and small fitness area are also included.

The large meeting rooms offers space for 200 persons and is dividable in smaller rooms.

Food & beverage

The hotel's Senzone restaurant is open for breakfast from 07:00-10:30 on weekdays and 07:30 to 11:00 on weekends. Lunch opening times are 13:30 to 16:00 and dinner from 20:30 to 23:00.

The cuisine makes use of local produce, fresh fish and rice dishes using traditional and local recipes.

During the America’s Cup, Hospes opens a bar restaurant chill-out cocktail bar opposite the Americas Cup Paddock (the official starting point). Senzone Port is available for lunch, dinner and cocktails and is open from 12:00 to 02:00, Thursday and Friday and from 12:00 to 03:00 on Saturday.

Room information

The hotel's rooms overlook either the inner court yard or the street. All rooms are equipped with queen-size beds, convertible into twin beds.
Furthermore all rooms are designed and decorated with contemporary and elegant furniture by the Hospes Design Team including flat-screen interactive TV and modern marble bathrooms.

Area information

Hospes Palau de la Mar is situated in the heart of Valencia, 500 metres away from the Turia Gardens and the beautifully restored Colon Market, offering a variety of restaurants.

The hotel is also within walking distance of: the Cathedral; the Temple Palace; Hall of Justice; the Lonja; and the new city of arts and science.

The staff were outstanding. We dealt with a number of the staff and they were all very helpful and polite. Even opening the bar just for us late in the evening, not once but twice.

The hotel did not have any umbrellas for guest, which was very disappointing as we had a couple of very wet days.

Very Helpful reception Staff - Room Service was excellent - Central position - over all atmosphere -

Chamber maid turning no disturb sign around and barge in the room early morning - would recommend this Hotel with some reservation - did not enjoy sky light window for a De luxe suite -

The rooms are of mixed size and we were allocated a very small room. I would suggest that if this happens to you that you asked to be moved. We did and were allocated a much larger one.

Nice surroundings, I liked the look of the hotel. Very nice breakfast. Quiet.

Never anyone working behind the bar. The hotel says it has a library but the staff could´t tell us where! Poor information about times of breakfast, the restaurant etc. The same tune (music) was played abslolutely all the time (I stayed there for a week). In general: The hotel MUST do something about the service level. There were a few people working in the restaurant that were very nice and did a really good job.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist me.

I do not think it was value for money given that the rooms was very sparse andl lacking in the everyday comforts you would expect of a hotel of this standard and reputation. The so-called Spa was also very disappointing. One very small pool plus a sauna and steam room that were not working when I was there.
