The location was excellent. We liked the decor of the rooms and the lack of street noise.

The showers went hot and cold without warning. The rooms weren't well sound proofed.

Hotel is very well located, a few steps from Porta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, has very friendly staff and has a very cool decoration in the room and a cool design. Breakfast is just regular is taken is taken in restaurant located 1 min from the Hotel. There's a small market right in front of the hotel what is very convenient. I definitely recommend Alhambra suites.

Very central, little hard to find but right off Plaza Mayor. Small room but everything I needed. Gentleman at the front desk very obliging. Very close to hop on hop off, supermercado, correos. Stop over on my way to Leon to start the camino. Unfortunately breakfast is not served until 0800 hrs but i had to leave earlier. Would stay again.

Very close to puerta del sol, plaza mayor, gran via and palacio real, all in walking distance. Nice, large and clean room for cheap price.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, eventhough from the outside the building does look a little odd. Excellent location just off Plaza del Sol. The breakfast, in a restaurant nearby, serves great tostadas.

Not all the staff demonstrates willingness to help - we had internet issues and were addressed with desdain and rudeness by the morning frontman.

Clean, friendly, central for sights, bars/restaurants and shops.

No external window in our room so felt a little claustrophobic.

Room was a box. Window to the sewer. Lamps exploded, shower was clogged... Whole room got wet. Bed hurt my back for 3 days.

Very central location and majority of staff were very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable price especially as breakfast was included.

The only issue we had was the rudeness of the man behind the reception when we arrived on 10th May. He was very brusque and when he showed us to our room he simply said "this is it" and went straight out. As I have said in the comments about what we liked the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Conveniently situated near the heart of Madrid, Plaza del Sol this apartment style hotel is modern and well appointed.

At 130 euros per night would not suit travelers on a budget.

Modern design, perfect location, breakfast serves till 12am, perfect for a relax weekend in Madrid.

room 106 is very noisy with water tanks and pipes filling and banging throughout the night. never been in such a loud room with a tiny little window overlooking roofs:( NOT IMPRESSED

Top services at the reception. Kindly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Puristic design. Breakfast served quickly and friendly. If you don't expect a palace but a place to sleep and rest, in the middle of the city, a few minutes from Palacio Real and Museo del Prado and other interesting places, and all these for a reasonable price, this one is the right choice.

You could hear other guests through the door. There could be some yogurth and corn flakes for breakfast and maybe a coffee machine. The entrance to the hostel could be better marked.

the air condition is too old. during the night some part just fallen with a big noise which frightened me so much; the environment around hotel is not clean.

The hotel looks very nice on the inside. Our room was nice and stylish bathroom. The breakfast was very good-lots of bread, muffins, yogurts, Iberian ham and cheese.

When we arrived at 11, the man on reception wasn't very welcoming. He didnt reallly say anything to us. When I asked if there were any good restaurants nearby he said 'yes' and didn't say anything else. Otherwise the hotel is nice.

The tidiness of the place and the professionalism of the staff,speaking several languages and checking everything;feels secure to know that someone actually bother to find out who is coming in.

Room sizes are on the small side but,to be honest, not even a dislike.

Central location. Vicinity of Sol Metro Station. Plenty ot bars, cafes and eatery's within a very short distance. And this comment comes from a person with mild mobility problems.

Quality rooms, great location. Very quiet room

Only that the room (room 222) had very little natural light (and frosted windows), but this was a minor issue as out most of the time. This was a very quiet room. If on front of property it might be noisier!

The way the shower is designed splashes lots of water in the rest of the bathroom; perhaps a shower curtain would be a solution.
