Owner was very helpful, especially helping us find the hotel. Private parking is available.

Hotel was very hard to find, especially since street we needed to take was blocked due to construction.

Good room, friendly staff, good location. An enjoyable experience.

Difficult to find, particularly the car park - in fact we gave up and left our car in a municipal car park. Beware of entering pedestrian area in a car - you may get a fine.

Location, value

Great location as we were only a couple of short blocks to the Mezquita and the Roman bridge. We loved our family room as it was right at the top (4th floor, 4 single beds, no lift) and had a terrace with a small table and chairs.

Our second night after changing rooms we got some sleep. Upper floor seemed to have much nicer furnishings. Location was close to all of the sites and shopping.

We were put on the ground floor on a VERY busy street our first night. We did change rooms on the second night to the 3rd floor. Would NOT recommend this place to others. Cost more than any other place we stayed in Spain and was one of our least favorite places.

Stuff doesn't speak english [!] PARKING - Is near hotel, but driving to hotel is senseless. Better way is to park near their garage, call them to open garage, leave car, take bags and go to check in. Sausage-like pillows typical for Spain. I had a headache because of them.

It's very hard to find the parking even if it's very close to the hotel, but because of the one-way streets you lose a lot of time searching for it. The main issue with the parking is that the entrance is very narrow and we unfortunately scratched our car on one side... actually there were other cars inside all scratched even worse than ours. The staff is very chaotic, it's a family business and the children are also handling the reception... I paid at our arrival and when checking out they asked me for money again saying that I didn't pay... So I definitely do not recommend this hostal, even if it's very well placed in the historical center.

The owner's daughter was so sweet and very considerate of my husband's difficulty to climb up to our scheduled 3rd floor room that she gave us a room on the ground floor. They had indoor parking and the staff helpful to aid in parking and then getting it out of the very steep curved exit. Price was very reasonable.

We had room 1 - it was on the ground floor, window on the edge of the small but very noisy road. Bathroom extremely small.

It was a typical old, Cordoban building with charm and character right in the heart of the old quarter of the city and easy walking distance from the main sights, Mezquita, roman bridge etc. It was also comfortable and clean, with helpful staff and very good value for money.

It was a little difficult to find even with the gps and we had to stop and ask directions. This was only a minor problem.

The recepcionist was really friendly and helped us to solve the problem with the car

Great location near restaurants & Mesquita/main sights. Room clean but basic, nice to open doors to balcony although not big enough to sit on Quick check in

We found Hostal Almanzor just right for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was absolutely clean and adequate for our needs, especially considering the price. We needed somewhere clean, friendly and close to the main attractions and that is exactly what we got. Our special thanks to the owner and staff. My husband left his wallet in a drawer and didn't realise until the day after we had left Cordoba and as we were then returning to the UK we emailed to ask for help, for confirmation that it had been found and for them to send to us. The wallet was returned quickly and efficiently much to our relief.

Good location for walking visits to attractions and restaurants/bars. Parking nearby.

No lift but good stairs. Almost impossible to drive /navigate to. Our satnav got us close but could not handle the one way systems. Eventually walked the last two hundred metres and got instructions from hotel involving a 2km detour! Getting out of town was simple!

The location was very good. it was a very clean hostal and the staff where very friendly. also very good value for money.

There are a lot of stairs if you are on the top floor. but it was a great room and worth the climb to have access to the terrace.

1 min walk to the cathedral. Friendly staff. Very good value indeed. Parking free of charge. Rooms exceeding expectation for a budget pension.

Great location, clean comfortable room. The staff's English is limited( as is my Spanish) but they more than make up for it with their desire to help.

Getting into the area of the mesquita and Jewish quarter is, to say the least, challenging. Google maps are out of date and added to the excitement.

Small hostel close to the old city center. Not very big, but the rooms are spacy enough. A bit noisy in the morning, however, not bad as a whole. They have garage for guests - it is very valuable there )))

Great location, but very busy when the tour bus,s come in.And the cost of drinks food go up when the tour group arrive, and go down when they leave.

Centrally located

Uninspiring! Not much english spoken, which isn't necessarily a problem. Nonetheless, for tourists, not helpful. We happened to go during major holiday season (late April/early May), so IMO 70€ for our room sin breakfast is not good value, but it is probably much less at other times. Getting there via car. OYYYYYY. Don't rely solely on GPS as the car park is just beyond and up the wrong way on a one way street, which I suggest u turn up the wrong way if necessary rather than drive all around the city. Difficult to maneuver in tight driving. Best is to swoop down Calle de San Fernando and leave car just before corner of Calle de Lucano while checking in. Otherwise, stuck on lots of one ways.

The owner let us leave our car in the car park even after we had checked out. The location is very close to the Mezquita.

The hotel is in the old part of town and was at the end of a road of brothels. Having said that, the ´ladies´that worked there seemed very discreet!

Good location. Free parking very close to the hotel.

Hard to get to by car. Very clear instructions for drivers in English as well as Spanish would be very useful, almost essential.
