Location (Walking distance to Alhambra)
Pure WiFi quality, small room and noisy environment.
Very near with alhambra
The toilet very tiny
if you come to Granada only to visit Alhambra - the hotel is in a good location. not expensive
the room is very dark. the check in is until 21pm. We told them we get later on via the website and via email, and they have not looked at it, they were angry. This created an unpleasant situation. The first night we did not get towels and hotel owners have already gone. the windows turn right towards to the street so there is no privacy
you have to use wifi from another hotel the service is very poor you can't use credit card eventhough booking.com says you can the toilet was broken damp bad light
Great location, esp if you want to get up to the Alhambra early and not be based right in the centre of the tourist area.
Noisey street, poor ability to cool the room in the stuffy summer. Staff were fairly unwilling to communicate.
Roll out of bed in the morning. 5 mins walk to the Alhambra, 10 mins through the park to the plaza nueva. Location was great for a couple of quick days exploring the city.
No air conditioning. Positioned on a busy st, so leaving the window open for a breeze resulted in significant street noises. Unable to get wifi in room. Bathroom smelt like drains could use some attention.
Walked through a beautiful park to get to the hotel , slightly uphill but nice stroll in the evening. 5min walk to Alhambra. a nice recepcion lady assisted us where to visit , local tapas etc.
the room was facing noisy main road, could not open the window in the room, only fan to cool the room. Many taxis and buses to drop guests of the hotel across the street.
Location location location
Not clean at all! Dirty bed and towels! Don't forget to bring a towel!
good location (same as hotel Alhambra Palace, but much much much cheaper ;)) soap and towels in the room
quite noisy area and dark room, but for short stay is enough
Near the Alahambra, it's a lovely, though steep, walk up a lovely forest path from the town,
I arrived at 3pm, and was unable to check in, couldn't make contact by phone or email given on the website, and had to walk around Granada all afternoon with my bags and return at 6pm with my fingers crossed there would be somebody there.
Simple, comfortable, large bathroom, it was very cheap
The bed was noisy, the hostal was located at the top of a hill, so we had to walk a lot to get there, the room was small, and felt stuffy
Don't ever go there. It was by far the worst hostel we ever stayed in and we travelled quite a bit. We were brought to an abandoned, old hotel where was really scary. Our room was very stinky, quite dirty and didn't have a door between sleeping area and the bathroom. There's warm water during the day, not during the night. No towels, no soap and don't even ask for wifi. All in all, the room had nothing to do with the description. No matter how cheap it might be, don't go there!!!
The owner was very rude.
Very close to Alhambra and city centre on foot the good price and free parking
It 's difficult to find travelling by car we had a lot of problem to find this hostel by gps Small rooms with very poor light without TV and AC on the ground floor There is a bus stop near so it's noisy during day and night
room was clean, location is not that bad, you have a great citiy view just few meters from hostal and is close to Alhambra.
first thing is that on Booking.com ist stated that you can pay by credit card. When we arrived there I mentioned receptionist (older lady) I will pay by card. She told me it's not possible, machine is broken, maybe tomorrow. We stayed 2 nights so I asked to pay tomorrow and the answer was "50 euros or no keys"...There was no towels, no wifi, and no toilet paper! Light in our bathroom stopped working after first night, so I must use table lamp putted in sink to have light in bathroom. There was nobody I can complain to.
We were told that there is parking however the hotel nas no parking of its own and we were sent to look for avsilable parking in the nearby streets
Free parking nearby - very limited and doesn't belong to the hostel. They close at 9pm! We arrived later than this and had to find somewhere else to stay for our first night. What kind of hostel doesn't stay open until at least midnight?! There are cheap "good value for money" hostels, but this is not one of them, room was small, dark and cold. We actually had to wait half an hour for hot water to be available and then it didn't last more than 5 mins! Wouldn't book my dog into this place, I've travelled quite extensively and this is by far the worst accommodation I've experienced in Spain so far.
I didnt end up stain cause they didnt find my reservation, then they tried to locate me in another near hotel that was in very unpleasent conditions. I left.
Sem água quente para tomar banho pela noite.
Good location, very near the entrance to Alhambra, but you have to go down and up many stairs to go to/from the city center. Parking on the square is for free, if you manage to find an empty place (which we did). Wi-fi signal is good in the room. Acceptable for a short stay, if you don't expect much.
Sound insulation is poor. There are only dark curtains on the window, so you have to keep the light on during the day, or expose yourself to the passengers (the room was on the ground floor). The light in the bathroom was not working (blinking all the time). Bed sheets are not white, so you can only hope that they are clean. There is no closet in the room, only a couple of hangers on the wall. You have to pay in cash and they probably want give you a receipt.
The hostel is very well situated in a quiet, very picturesque area of the city. We were greeted in a friendly manner and the staff were extremly helpful with any qeuries we had. For the price and location it was just what we were looking for.
Would have been nice to have towels and toilet roll in our rooms on arrival but when asked the staff responded amicably and extremly swiftly.
Perfect Location, value for money
Hotel owner didn't allow us to remove the windows blinds from outside, we had no view of outside
Incredibly rude owner (?) who yelled at me on arrival. He kept yelling, reducing me to tears.(first time I've cried in public for the past 55 years). His wife/manager told me I had to pay cash, the machine to accept credit cards was being repaired. She did give me a receipt, reluctantly, after I paid up. He said that he had told Booking.com many times that they didn't accept credit cards. They said they just had a double bed for us (not the twins we had requested). Said we were late, even though we got there at the late afternoon time we had specified in our booking.
Horrible place. You can hardly call that a room - very very small, dirty, uncomfortable bed. Nothing like the pictures in booking.com, also no internet access, no view over the city of Granada, the parking is not nearby. Horrible, horrible place!!!
The people were very sweet when we checked in. She was very dilgent in offering (free) bottles of water and making sure I could access the wifi. It was VERY clean.
The room and bathroom were painfully small. The window faced the street and people could lift the metal covering and see/reach into our room. This is clearly a family that converted a few rooms into a hotel - which is sweet. But you can tell they are not well outfitted to run a hotel. They lock the door and if you don't happen to arrive when they are present, you won't get your room! The location is super convenient for visiting the Alhambra, but I wish we'd stayed closer to the action. The wifi only works in the lobby and the lobby is typically locked up. For what we paid, I probably would recommend you find a different place. To use the sink you had to literally stand in the bathtub.
