The hostel is very well placed near the city centre. The building is modest from the outside, but the inside is very harmoniously designed. The hostel has its own parking place, with a simple roof protecting the cars from direct sunshine. The proprietor is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple continental: rolls/croissants, butter, jam, drinks, but everything is good quality and the baked goods are simply excellent, probably coming from the nearby bakery. The proprietor does not speak English (but speaks many other languages and goes out of his way to help).

The location in the centre of town was very convenient for the local amenities. Excellent car parking facilities. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Quite basic. Maybe needs a few more facilities in the rooms - kettle etc - however, excellent value for money.

El hostal està cerca del centro de Pals. La habitación era limpia. The hotel is near the centre of Pals. The room was clen. La persiana enrollable y la nevera de la habitación estaban rotas, pero sobre todo el dueño del hostal quiso aplicarme una segunda vez el iva sobre el total de la reserva (donde estaba escrito claro que el iva ya estaba incluído). Cuando se lo dije, él siguió diciendo que era "la taxa" (????)... Estén cuidados! The shade and the refriferator of the room were broken, but above all the owner wanted to apply me a second time the VAT (IVA) on the total amount of the reservation (where was clearly written that the VAT (IVA) ya was included). When I said it to him, he went on saying that it was "the tax" (????)... Be careful!

Las zonas comunes están reformadas con muy buen gusto. El hombre muy amable te informa de todos los alrededores, donde comprar, donde comer....hasta nos ayudó a subir la maleta!! La habitación pequeñita pero muy limpia y funcional, el detalle de la nevera va muy bien y en los hostales no suele haber. Calefación con termostato, no pasamos ni frío ni calor (aunque parezca una tontería hemos llegado a pasar mucha calor en algunos hostales rurales) y aparcamiento gratis!

La chambre fonctionnelle, le lit confortable, le service attentionné du responsable, la localisation près de la vieille ville de Pals "El Pedro". La fermeture du restaurant Vicus les 2 jours que nous avons été sur place.
