Hostal Bcn Port  

Everything was perfect. The room was big and beds wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpfull. I recommand this hotel also for its location, at 200 m of the port and the breakfeast which was great. The district is very quiet. We spend a wonderfull stay.

The hotel was in good location, close to the metro and only 5mins from las ramblas. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit on small side, but for a short stay in a big city with lots to see it wasn't a big deal as we didn't spend much time in it. There wasn't a huge choice in the breakfast buffet.

Location was great, friendly helpful staff. Ideal for cruise stopover. would use again. Free wi-fi was good, and next door was a nice cafe/bar.

I chose this hostel because of its proximity to the World Trade Center where I had a conference. Good enough price and not too far from the Ramblas as well. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Just the difficulty to getting our heavy luggage up and down the mezzanine room given to us during our stay.

Great people. Excellent location. Very convenient - if you are visiting old Barcelona and catching a cruise.....

Bad smell after everyday cleaning. Our room had virtually no natural light.

The hotel is located near to the port and La Rambla street. City center is really close.

The room of our friends was in the first floor and window was inside to the back yard. The backyard was surrounded by of the many big buildings. So in the room was not any sun light or daily light at all. And to open the window was impossible, because the backyard smells as well. The air conditioner was broken. Our friends didn't sleep first night, because was really hot. They changed 3 rooms during the 3 days!!! Only in the last room the air conditioner was working, but in the reception they couldn't find the control device. The lady in the reception was very arrogant. But the guy was nice. I will never recomend this hotel for tuorists.

I liked how clean the rooms were kept and the breakfast was very good in the morning!!

The are is a little ghetto that the hotel is in. But they keep the doors locked and have a security guard at the front desk who lets people come in and out. Felt very safe.

Location. A lot of restaurants to eat close to the hostal. Friendly staff.

Good location, friendly staff, highly recommended :) Room size was slightly small. But when u are in barcelona, u wouldnt waste your time staying in the room. So, as long as a room with a clean bed and a shower, im happy :) It may be a bit noisy, but again, walking/ sightseeing the whole day, sleep like a baby at night, didnt even notice the noise.. Overall, very happy with this hotel :)

Htoel BCN is a very lovely hotel, located just 5 miniutes from the Sea Port. Very ideal if you are comming from a Cruize. The CIty tourist bus is just 8 minitues from the hotel. Beaches are 15 miniutes from the hotel and the Train staion to Airport is 10 miniutes walk. Mountain hills are 10 miniutes. In general the Hotel is ideally located. Service is very good and staff is friendly, room is very clean.

I really dont have any words to say bad about the BCN hotel. It is recommended one.

I have stayed here before in 2008 and thought it was 1st class then . It has now took over more of the building and improved again . There are now more rooms and you also get a continental breakfast as part of the deal . Originally there was no restaurant facility available . Went on a stag weekend and the party of 13 males agreed it was a place to return to . 2minutes to Ramblas but located in a quiet location with more local bars etc to relax in . The reception staff couldnt do enough for you . 24 hour reception and English clearly spoken .

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful and ideal location to access main tourist areas and most importantly to watch Chelsea beat Barcelona at the Nou Camp !
