The location was perfect for visiting the city of Madrid. Everything was on our doorstep. The bars, restaurants and transport around the city were just steps away. The hostel was very clean and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to someone on a budget.
Nothing to dislike...
A Bit Noisy!
Location is perfect, very cosy, clean and comfortable room! Perfect value for the money paid!
- Is near of the most touristic places in Madrid. - The rooms are clean. - The beds are comfortable. - The bathroom seems that was newly renovated. - The staff were very nice.
- The towels were very old. They should replace all.
Location, good wifi, clean, very accommodating staff.
No problem for me, but the staff don't seem to speak much English.
Easy to walk to Puerta del Sol which is just a few minutes from the hotel.
Location and quiet street
Staff could have been more helpful
The location is absolutely perfect. The staff is kind, but their English is limited.
It has great location.
Very nice people work there!! Thanks a lot for your care! Very convinient location in the center of the city. Beautiful street. Nice place. We reccomend)
We stayed 4 nights, the double room on the 1st night was clean but small and the staff transferred us to a triple room for the next 3 nights. Spotlessly clean, fridge was useful, location fab.
nothing, great value.
The Location was great, centrally located on a side street, so it was quite at night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy and clean. We were walking distance to everything we wanted to see, Museo Nacional de Prado, the Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol... we had a great time in Madrid, if I could move there location of the hotel, I would! I would want to work close by, the little side streets were wonderful, food, drinks, art... loved it
Clean and comfortable what more can you ask for also friendly staff
entry and exit requires locking and unlocking two more doors in addition to the door of the room.
The location is perfect!
Thry didn't understand english well enough to answer our questions
Room were clean and so was the hotel, and the location was brilliant
The staff refused to speak English and we had a nightmare to try and communicate. I had to get google translate out and the guy just shrugged his shoulders at me and said a bunch of stuff in spanish. He swore at us under his breath for not being happy with having to switch rooms after they double booked our room, and was very rude for the remainder of our stay. I would not go back to this place purely, because of the attitude of this guy on reception.
The hostel location is great: next to Sol and all the museums, a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. At the same time the street is quiet. The room is clean. The personnel tries to be very helpful. The quality/price ratio is very good.
Drawbacks: - very thin walls between the rooms, anything can be heard (so it depends on your neighbours if you are able to sleep or not) - we had a very small room (no space to put luggage), though I saw another room, it was larger (for two thin girls it's ok though) - personnel doesn't speak English, which is a problem when you don't know Spanish (they didn't understand us when we wanted to order a taxi). Afterwards we understood that we can easily find a "libre" taxi in the street - we stayed in this hostal during our trip twice. The second time they didn't have free rooms, so we were placed into the next door hostel. As we think, they often do this. All in all, for that money we paid, this was a very good choice!
Good location, strong Wi-Fi signal.
I spent one of the worst nights ever in this hostel. The room was just ok (bed and pillow hard as a rock), but it place was extremely noisy (not from the outside, but from the people inside!). Walls are paper-thin, so I could perfectly follow my neighbors' conversations, I even heard them snoring. There were several people talking on the corridor after midnight, knocking on doors, slamming doors and laughing out loud. I could not sleep until 2 a.m approx., when people finally went to sleep. Not to be recommended if you are looking for a place to sleep indeed!
limzesa,localização e bom preço
Nice, clean; well renovated rooms. Very helpful staff. Close to the city centre. Was all a food exoerience
Very good location, not expensive, very clean
Friendly staff and centrally located, rooms were cleaned everyday. There was also a mini fridge in the room which i thought was really awesome,as many premises of that level don't seem to include such services. Definitely recommend it and surely going back in future, lovey lady at reception in the mornings.
the staff could learn a bit of english, for travelers like myself who don't speak spanish, yet :) there was a little issue with noises coming from other rooms, such as people using the bathroom and such, but was'nt really much of a problem though!
The location, the fact that the room was very clean and had light. There is a fridge in the room, which was great to keep water cooled and a few snacks. Everyone was nice.
You can hear everything, but it isn't bad. For Hostal it's normal to have fine walls.
