Just 325 ft from Madrid’s Atocha Station and the Reina Sofia Museum, the Hotel Mediodia has a 24-hour front desk. Each air-conditioned room includes a TV and free Wi-Fi.

The Urban Sea Hotel Atocha 113 is a modern and minimalist hotel is located next to the lovely Retiro Park, less than a 10-minute walk from Atocha Station.
Score from 1197 reviews Very good
Hotel simple but very good. A lot of options near. We did not have breakfast at hotel, there is a lot of cheap option of food near.
The heating system was not working well.
The hotel's location scores the highest. Bed was comfortable and shower and toilet area were super clean! Proximity to major tourist attractions and it was easy traveling around with the nearby metro station and buses.
Size of room a little small and hotel does not have much amenities. Some of TV channels were fuzzy and I find 1-2 of the hotel staff were not that friendly.
Really enjoyed my stay here, it is in a great location and is a good budget hotel in the heart of Madrid. Close to the two main squares and Huertas and Atocha of course. I will be back to Madrid in the future and to this hotel again, I'd fully recommend visiting this city and staying here. Brilliant city and a great value for money hotel in a superb location.
I stayed on the "cheap" side. It's like two different hotels, a cool one and a simple one, that are connected. So, on the simple side, everything was very clean and basic, just what I needed for my 7-hour layover in Madrid: a clean bed and a hot shower.
There's a few annoying stairs to get down to the cheap side
Near Reina Sofia and Atocha station. Showers in renovated sections are great. Check you are in the newer areas.
The family room looked larger on Internet. Was a bunk bed with bed side by side. But was nevertheless comfortable and good for one night.
Staying charges of the hotel are low. It is near to the art museum.
A room is smelly like the sewer so strong.
Rooms were cold and there was no isolation for noise. It would be better if they had better windows for the rooms.
Location. Value. Room facilities.
Cleaning was not very good. We had no soap in either of our sink or shower dispensers. Towels very poor and did not dry well.
Stayed for few hrs to overnight being underway from train stn to airport. Very good location for train stn.
Old section of the building was terrible. Room was tiny, windows with gaps in frames even when fully shut. I rejected to remain in the room offered upon my arrival even for few hrs, and then was given another room in new section of the building. The "new" room appeared clean, however was extremely small but ok to sleep.
Location was excellent.. Clean... We had the double room with private bathroom
Room needed to be renovated... Looked very old... Beds were poor quality also
the concept or theme of the hotel. super clean and very near to interestg places. its centralised and very convenient. near to renfe train station and just next to reina sofia museum.
The location is great for both Atocha train station and the Reina Sofia Museum as well as Retiro park. The staff are friendly and most speak excellent English. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was a little run down however, we were given the option of upgrading to one of the newer rooms that have been updated when we first checked in. We chose to stay in the older room simply because it was more spacious for 3 people. However, this room didn't have double glazing and we realised after the first night that perhaps we should have upgraded as we found out that Madrid is a city that never sleeps! It's a good hotel for the price, close to many amenities, clean and has very friendly staff - including the cleaning staff who always greeted us in the morning.
Perhaps because of its location in a busy intersection, there was no way of reducing the noise filtering through the room all night. Otherwise, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
The proximity to the station.
Room facilities, comfortable, internet WIFI is simply awesome. Many food shops outside the hotel
Location was great, staff friendly. Bed was really comfortable.Room was clean I was on a budget holiday and this was value for money. I was offered an up grade for extra money as they were upgrading hostel, but chose not to. builders did not disturb us while we were there.
The safe in the room was 1 euro each time you used it. This was annoying as it meant if you wanted to leave something in the safe rather than take it out in the evening, it cost more money.
Location was brilliant; just steps away from the Atocha Train station, and adjacent to the Reina Sofia museum and walking distance to the Prado.
The room was very tight. Fortunately I was alone with little luggage, but a couple with more than one suitcase would be hard pressed to move around the room.
Location Price Service
Conveniently located very close to the train station. We booked for that reason because we were getting an early train to Seville. We were in a double room which had been recently refurbished but being so small there was nowhere to put our suitcases. The lift was very small and we could only just get in with our two large suitcases. The reception area is small and grubby. I would not stay here again as I feel this hostel would be more suitable for younger travellers/backpackers on a tight budget. I had booked a single room for a companion traveller. he was so disgusted with his room he booked out and found a hotel a short distance away.
Not a lot! Our room was OK for one night, but the way the room has been photographed it appears to look bigger than it actually is. At least it was clean!
Truly enjoyed our stay at Buelta Hostal just off Atocha across from train station. Our room was on the older side, but quite nice, ensuite, roomy w/2 big beds, desk plus balcony overlooking Atocha St. & Buen Retiro Park. Location is fabulous! Reina Sofia Museum is just a 30 second walk. Literally behind hotel in the plaza. Also Prado is a lovely 4 minute walk along Buen Retiro park. Points to highlight include the staff. Especially, Alejandro who is consistently pleasant and goes out of his way to make ones stay better. Plenty of food options near both fast food; Macs. B. King, Star Bucks plus local fare. Toiletries included, elevator, plenty of hot water, free wifi plus metro station steps away. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Madrid. Highly recommend for the price, location and treatment of staff!
Proximity -- walking distance to Atocha
Friendly staff Near subway station
Very noisy in October 12, because of the national holiday
Very central. Good price.
Hotel is desperately in need of renovation, but this work has already started and some rooms have been completed. Our room was not one.
The location can't be beat being just a couple hundred meters from Atocha train station. New towels. Nice staff.
Don't be fooled by the pics you'll see in the ads. Those rooms are few and much more expensive. Two years ago this hotel was a cash-only no-reservations backpackers hotel. This is a 19th century hotel slowly trying to ease into the 21 century. Small small TV. One shared plug with the lamp in the bedroom. Tiny tiny rooms.
