NOTHING to dislike!
Fine room, even given a choice of rooms; clean & orderly. Manager was superb, gave great orientation AND a complimentary bottle of wine.
It was festiva so the locals were a little noisy overnight - but hey - what you gonna do?
Excellent service and a bottle if wine when we checked in!
I wouldn't have been too happy travelling back to the hostel at night if I was a solo female traveller as it was down a dark lonely lane.
We received a lovely welcome following a tiring day's walk on the Camino. It was a lovely gesture to receive a complimentary bottle of wine at check-in.
No toiletries, dirty bathroom and blow drier was broken. Staff was not at all helpful.
The room was run down and in need of renewal. Carpet has holes, but location was good.
We had to take a family room as there was no other one available which pushed up the price considerably. So we are commenting on 2 twin bedded rooms. I'm sure a normal twin or double room would be equally very good. Twin beds could be a bit wider.
very clean rooms and excellent bathrooms. Manger and staff very pleasant and helpful. They give you a welcoming bottle of rioja!
When we checked in, they brought us a bottle of wine. I guess it came with the room, and it was good (a Rioja, of course).
No outdoor space - couldn't really open our windows and get in the sunshine and air.
Size of the rooms - a 'family' room, comprising two separate rooms and a very nice bathroom. Light and sunny in rooms and well decorated It was tucked away in a very quiet street but just off Camino (which we were walking) and a short stroll to the riverside and the restaurants of the old quarter/ the impressive monastery Manager was friendly
I would of liked breakfast, but then again you can go outside there are many places to have that, but would have been more convenient if on site. Little difficult to find just be patience and ask the locals where it is if you are not sure.
For a one night sleepover if you are doing the Camino, then it is more than adequate, you could also stay a little longer. Look it is very reasonable price, plus Manager was very helpful, he might also offer you a bottle of wine! Further the room was nice and clean. I liked this place very much and would go back.
Having to leave
