The rooms were freezing cold and the man refused to give us a heater. The location was good.
How the man spoke with us when we asked for the heater.
This facility provided parking which we found to be a BIG issue in Spain. The location was perfect as we liked walking to all the sites and dining options. The proprietor was very helpful and spoke enough English to help us with all or questions.
Location is great, near Plaza del Socorro and Ronda's bridge. 2 minutes away from the bus station. Staff is friendly, room and bathroom were clean, and bed comfortable enough.
Nothing wrong except if you are looking for luxury.
It was little bit cold during the night and it took some time to get warm water. But the owner was so nice and the location is between bus station/train station and tourist attractions(Ronda bridge, Stadium of bull fight).
Staff is friendly, location is good, it is all relatively clean, but...
The fitted sheets on our bed had big holes in them and were quite old. No hand soap was provided in the washroom. The window cover to keep out the streetlight was broken and would not close.
Sound vibrates throughout the different floor levels. Not much of sound proof / insulation in this hotel. You can hear chair moving or someone opening/closing their room door, etc. It's difficult to get a decent sleep.
Great location, friendly staff and a nice big room.
Quiet, clean, inexpensive, family-run hostal in a very central location.
Shared bathroom in the less expensive rooms might be a problem if the hostal was full.
Nice welcome by reception and clean room & bathroom (though they are pretty basic). Close to local bars, resterants and historical points of interest.
Was a bit loud from early in morning - but our room was next to a shared bathroom.
The Hostal Dona Carmen is located a five minute walk from the Punto Nuevo bridge and very close to many other sights in Ronda. It was comfortable, clean, and the staff (though their English was basic) were very helpful and friendly.
The staff were extremely hospitable! As young, poor travellers, we were extremely appreciative when we were offered ice creams when were sitting using the wifi. The owners were incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to use their family sitting and TV area after checkout to eat our lunch and relax! Regardless of having no English, we had no trouble communicating and getting info about the surroundings. We were extremely impressed with the hospitable nature of this hostel!
The rooms could get quite hot with a lack of air con/ fan, however with a wet towel and open window, no sleep was lost.
We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment right in the gorge.... wow what stunning views.
Nothing in the apartment like the basic food needs that you don't carry around with you when travelling. Ie sugar, coffee, salt etc
A/C, bathroom, beds all good.
Cozy single room, good location
Gotta fix the bathroom door
Location was great staff friendly secure basic but clean both room and shared bathroom
wifi only in reception
Great value, clean room, centrally located.
No wifi in room.
Perfect location, close to both center, busstation and train station. Nice staff that gave good recommendations of good tapasbars. I shared bathroom but since there was not that many people it was good.
Couldn't close the window, so a bit noise and very cold in the room but they had blankets so that was good.
The location is great, extremely near the train station and bus station. The host and his two lovely daughters are very friendly. Clean and comfortable. Strongly recommend!
dirty bathroom, no toilet seat, wet paper!
very noisey people talking very loud and playing music in the hotel next to our room
Good location, friendly staff.
Having put a preference for a double room we were given a twin room. Also there is no wifi.
The staff were very friendly & helpful. The location was excellent. Car parking was right next door.
It would have been nice if our shared bathroom had a toilet seat & a hook to hang things on.
Noisy form the bathroom, the people and the light of bathroom go through my window so that I can't sleep well.
