I liked the swimming pool, views, proximity to town centre. Staff friendly and attentive.

On the website they say that wifi is available but they don't mention it is only available in the reception area and my phone couldn't connect to it. The swimming pool is only open until 8 p.m which was disappointing as I hoped for late swim.

Lovely little B&B, quiet and spacious, comfortable accommodation. Very adequate breakfast

Nothing much, maybe as someone else has said more shower gel as this wasn't always replaced.

    Lovely locatuon and friendly staff

Restaurant and bar was closed during our stay so no way to get a drink of any sort. This was not helped by no tea/coffee tray in room.

This a great value hostal, with fabulous views from the room's balcony, down over the town, across the bay and out to sea. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast offers a great selection from cereals, orange juice, with ham, cheese and tomato to make your own tostadas, and plenty of good cofffee.

One word of caution to those unsteady on their feet - it is a steepish walk up to the hostal and their are a number of steps up to the rooms and some steps in the room down to the bathroom. This has caused us to rethink a stay with my mother-in-law who is old and unsteady and would find the place too much of a challenge.

Amazing view, delicious breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff

The pillows supplied in the room were uncomfortable, but we realised too late that you can actually request different types of pillows.

We stayed at El Dorado for the third time and everything was as it should be: the friendlyness of the owner, the cleaniness of the room, the hotel room was like an appartment with a fantastic view over the bay of San Jose.

Nice, clean and comfortable room, terrace with amazing sea view, quiet, super friendly staff, pillow menu (!!), position close to town's centre, very good hotel's restaurant, good breakfast on the restaurant's terrace with sea view, value for money... well, actually we loved everything about the hotel!

Nothing, super reccomended. The only problem may be the fact that there are quite some steps/stairs in case you have mobility issues.

Location - great view of San Jose and the sea. Staff all very helpful and friendly - nice, clean room - easy to get to all local amenities

Terrible coffee with breakfast buffet - would have been happy to pay for fresh coffee Pool a bit small, and not much room for sitting around the pool

The room is large and with an awesome terrace looking to the sea. The San Jose area is one of the best beach spots in Spain. If you like true Mediterranean towns mixed with wonderful wild beaches (I love Genoveses) this area is a must. The location of the hotel is great, quiet but close to everything in San Jose. We did not move the car in 5 days.

The breakfast had a few very nice things: excellent fresh tomato, olive oil and whole bread, and fruit. But I missed some homemade cakes ;-)
