24h-reception, easy to find, situated stone's throw away from metro.
Our room was very small, without a window, air conditioning wasn't very good.
Very convenient location. The metro station Urgell is just next door. We also walked to Universität and Plaza Catalana which was also very nice. Hostel facility is good but if you are sensitive to noise then this could be a little challenge as you could hear nearly everything from your next door (never mind they would hear you too...) The room we had was clean and the bed wad surprisingly comfortable (we didnt expect it at all since it is a hostel style). The stuffs were nice, helpful and friendly. We could leave our luggages there on the last day as our flight was at night.
Strange smell from outside when window opened.
We booked a double room under the condition it would have a double bed instead of two single beds. We were told it would be so, but as we arrived in the evening, we found two single beds in our room. There was nobody at the reception to complain to, so when we did it the next morning, we weren't given any solution or compensation, except "send an e-mail". We were upset about it and let down for the promise not acomplished. Very noisy too.
Great location and fab staff
Room like a cell with rock hard beds. Weren't cleaned once in four days...rooms weren't too much of a problem as we were out all day but they just weren't comfortable...not good value for money.
Easy access to the Metro.
Noisy all night long. Needed to have the window open for circulation.
The staff and the location are excelent.
Very noisy. Impossible to sleep after 7-8 o'clock. Maybe we were unlucky with our room, that was very close to the reception, but still.
location is good。 room is clean
Wi-Fi is a little slow
Very clean. Staff was friendly and spoke englis well.
Doors of the rooms didn't isolate sounds from lobby well.
we found all comfort while staying in this hotel, comparing to the low budget that we had, nice welcoming, hotel crew very warm & attentive
The location is close to the city. These hotel is perfect!
You won't find a cleaner hostel, plus the bathroom is excellent and has plenty of hot water. Comfortable. The woman at the desk was a pleasure, she really helped us out with question. The location is near some Gaudi Buildings as well as as la La Rambla, but also near La Rambla de Raval, a calmer neighborhood with a diverse and reasonable array of food options.
Our room did not have a lot of sunlight, but others did A little pricey for us
Extremely friendly staff, always eager to help. Very very close to the metro station (about 20 meters only!) Central location, very close to shops, supermarkets and cafeterias-restaurants. Did have a shared kitchen and a roomy private bathroom
The WiFi signal was very poor, and did not cover the whole room. The kichen could be more equipped.
It was clean, the stuff was polite and it was at the centre
The fact that the bathroom is shared
The receptionist was very helpful as she guided as how to tour in Barcelona.
There is one night of my stay there is power outage.
Reception girl was very nice and helpful.
Rooms are very, very small and extraordinarily NOISY.Most importantly THERE IS NO WAY to contact the owner. He does not respond to phone calls or emails. DO NOT STAY in this hostal. Barcelona is too beautiful to suffer here. I have been to many hostals before and this one is the worst of all. The nice reception girl resigned on account of poor relations with the boss.
very helpful staff, location 15 meters from metro station is just great, old typical barcelona building with high ceilings and large wooden doors
light in rooms should be more bright
The friendly unostentatious personnel, very convenient arrangement (100 m to the subway, around three network shops - Caprabo, Consum, Dia), pleasant cafeteria on the first floor, available kitchen - it is possible to train for itself. Modestly, but it is pure.
On a trifle. In a bathroom (we had number with own bathroom) any hook - there is no place even to hang up a towel. Heating (was quite cool) works when hot water from the crane flows. In the room there were no windows - absolutely.
Reception is nice
A bit noisy
the hostel was in very good place, 15min walking to la rambles, also was very good that the bus from airport stops in front of hostel, as well as metro station is also just outside of hostel. Place for cheap breakfast is next building to hostel and supermarket as well. The hostel was really clean.
It was very noisy, you could hear people walking in hostel from 7am, and they did cleaning from 7am as well, so you were awake from that hour. We didn't have hot water for one day and reception is working 8-17h. Hostel was old and simple, but for money you pay, it's ok
Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Whole place was cleaned every day, immaculate. Strong Wifi connection throughout the hostel. 24 hour check in/out. Really central to town. Most delicious bakery right next door!!! Kitchen facilities really good, always clean, big fridge/freezer with plenty of food. Because it was a small hostel with only around 10 rooms it was pretty quiet.
It is cheap, and it is very close to Urgell Metro. There's a good place to get a haircut right next door, and a tailor/dry cleaner around the corner. Most of the places to eat and drink in the neighborhood are reasonably priced. The kitchen is nice in combination with the 24 hour markets nearby.
There is no sign for this hostel. None. Find the street and use the address as best you can, the only indication that you've found it is a strip of paper on the door buzzer. Reception is empty most of the time. I ended up with a private room right over the street. From 2am until 6am there were ridiculously loud trash trucks hovering around outside my room. I'm usually a sound sleeper, but we're talking decibel levels sufficient to make the glass panels in the patio door shake. For hours. After 6, you get all the rush hour traffic noise. Do not get a room near the street if you're looking to sleep at all.
Extremely good value for money. Cute room, for the size.
A bit loud, very small. No staff seen.
Everything was perfect about hostel.Good location, very clean rooms, good wifi.
Beds little bit uncomfortable.
Everything clean, staff is nice and helpful, free food vouchers available, nice place (city center), everything working, heating was on. Two towels each person was also nice.
room was really small, there was no water boiler. it would be great if it could be available, to make yourself some tea or coffee in the morning, also hairdryer should be in the room.
The place was in a great location and god value for money. I will recommend it to travelers who are travelling on a budget.
