hostal had een goede ligging (dicht bij het metrostation urguell), naast een bakkertje en dichtbij een supermarkt.

1 dag hadden we geen warm water omdat de boiler kapot was

Erg prettig dat we na het inchecken verder met rust gelaten werden Netjes 1 x per 2 dagen schoonmaak van kamer Zoveel schone handdoeken als we wilden

Zeer vriendelijk onthaal, mooi oud pand in centrum Barcelona. Parkeren goed geregeld. Schoon en gebruik van keuken indien gewenst. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding prima.

Omdat wij in hartje zomer daar waren hebben wij de airco echt gemist. Ook in hartje stad heb je veel lawaai 's nachts. De prijs was daar wel naar, is dus een keuze.

De ontvangst om 09.00 uur 's morgens was goed. Wij konden na 10 minuten onze kamer betrekken. De hulp van de receptionist was uitstekend. Op maandag en dinsdag was er niemand, dit was wat minder. Van zondag op maandag zijn er uit de koelkast, die in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte staat, een fles cola en een fles witte wijn weggenomen. Ik kon hier mijn beklag niet over doen, daar er niemand aanwezig was. Inmiddels per mail mijn klacht gedaan. Met vriendelijke groet, Gerda en Nico

Prima ligging. Bakker, groenteboer en supermarkt zeer nabij. Wel een oud hostel, maar je kunt er zelf je eten maken als je wilt in een gemeenschappelijke keuken. Prima hostel voor een aantal dagen Barcelona

Location, kitchen facility, and the nearby Aerobus to the Ariport and walking distance to port and sightseeing bus. Friendly and helpful staff.

extreemly small rooms, pricy for a hostal. the beds were a bit too hard for my liking and the rooms dimly light. We stayed two different nights and two different rooms. One had a lovely balcony but you could not get to it because the bed was in the way....ashame for there was a lovely view from it. The other had no windows which made it seem even more tight and dim.

Good location staff and clean room.

Air conditioner doesn't work properly.

Windows were facing the street and had bad isolation, so it was hard to sleep throgh noise.

I like having common kitchen and lounging areas. Clean basic and quiet. Staff very helpful. Big plus on my list.

Shared bath did not have sink that functioned although sink in my room was fine. Seemed odd.

City centre. Mini supermarket 3 doors away. Metro station 3 doors away. Full kitchen to save money on dining. Safe area.

The kitchen door bangs .. loud !! Lol

Good value. Good discounts at restaurants provided by hostel, which staff took time to explain to us. Many brochures for activities and maps available!

Only one shower shared by all those staying at hostel- a bit of a rush to get in some times!

They have a kitchen that you can use, which was nice. It was kept clean and there wasn't any old smelly food in the fridge like we've seen in other hostels. We had plenty of space in our room and it was clean enough to walk around without shoes. There is a big dinning room as well so you can hang out, play games, have dinner, or whatever. Internet connection was pretty good throughout the hostel, though it did crash on our last day. Once it was reported, the receptionist called for help and had it fixed immediately (it took about half an hour or so).

We tried to extend our reservation one more day, but it was completely booked on a Wednesday evening. This is surprising as it's the off- season and especially because there was space available online. Not sure if there was a miscommunication or what, but we had to leave the hostel. We had trouble with the heat in our room and the window didn't quite seal. Not a big deal, but it got really cold at night. Our room was above a busy street and it could get a little loud. A garbage truck was beeping outside for twenty minutes, starting at around 3am. We're heavy sleeper though, so the noise didn't bother us, but just a warning to light sleepers, you should maybe ask for a quite room. Only one shower for the shared bathroom rooms. I have to wait in line for over an hour before I could shower one of the days. They also don't allow you to shower late at night, which means everybody is showering in the morning. The shower will likely be busy from 10am - 1pm.

Location was great, 5 ins walk from the centre. Large room, which was cleaned daily, fresh towels daily. Plenty of hot water and great staff.

A bit noisy due to construction work taking place on the floor above, but apart from that....nothing.

The price! Excellent location just metres from Urgell Metro Station and 10 minutes walk from Placa Catalunya. Nice breakfast cafe next door to the hostal.

Slightly overheated. A bit noisy in the evening - people using the entrance lobby as a place to sit and chat.

location is perfect! 50m from metro station and so close to placa catalunya and spagna! conditions are good because i live in a identical room. its clean enough. i'm glad

Kitchen was good, wifi worked well, computers available to use. Clean, Staff helpful

Room was small and a bit claustrophobic, It had one window which did not let in much natural light. Shower head attachment needs repairs. Could be noisy if other guest were noisy. Room door needs the key to lock it from the inside.

I loved the fact that there was a kitchen that was available for use; we bought food and cooked our dinners instead of eating out, which made it possible for us to do other things instead of spending our money on food!

Confusion about Pin number and entre code numder. Entry code number had to be used at both doors. Pin number was not required.

Wonderful service. The receptionist's super patient and nice, and he speaks well-enough Ensglish. Great Position. It's like 2 minutes to the supermarket on the same street and less than 5 minutes to nearby restaurants(one of them is So great and cheap, called London 151! you can ask the receptionist about it). And more or less 10 min to plaza catalunya and very close to La Rambla. And it's really close to the bus station where you can take the aeroport bus.

There's only one shower and it closes at minight. It is clean but there's an ant-problem, I once found a group of ants on the shower floor. And in the morning it's a bit noisy, specially in room 1 and 2 since they are on the street-side.
