welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff.
bathroom could do with updating
Located near enough to Gerona Airport to enable easy transfer. Plenty of points of interest in the town. Only one of the staff was English-speaking and he was very helpful.
The quality of the evening meal was not up to the standards of the other hotel facilities. One or two other details need attention - no plug in wash-basin, handle on balcony door was faulty
Restaurant was very good
WiFi only available in bar and reception. No overnight porter so all areas where in darkness until 08:00 Breakfast from 08:00 is too late.
nothing to do there stuck
Value for money with a nice restaurant as long as you don't have the house wine. Very comfortable room and fair to good location for train. Probably very good for a family
Can't fault it for the price
Clean and fair service
Very reasonable price. Convenient for the purpose of my visit. Sound if basic facilities. Decent breakfast.
Small bathroom. No air conditioning.
A nice enough hotel with a nice area for the kids to play at the back, but.......
The unpleasant Owner/Manager became very aggressive and followed me to my room! All seemed well until I ordered a desert. The manager told be he needed 30 minutes notice to prepare a cheesecake!??? An hour later I was given an egg flan which I sent back. I was then shouted at to pay my bill and he became very aggressive and repeatedly shouted at me to calm down. I was the calm one. My money was in the room and I was followed to up to make sure I'd pay. He has some issues. Thankfully we were staying for one night only.
We were able to get some food despite no facilities on a Sunday night. Beds comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Room and bathroom clean. Lift worked well. Car parking outside.
Arrived 2000 hours on a Sunday and found no restaurant or cafeteria open (but we were given some food). Bouncy castle in garden with masses of shrieking children rushing around. Should not be listed as an airport hotel as too far from airport and not easy to find. Had to wait to book in as barman busy. No soap provided and no bath plug. Too tired to ask, and had own for such emergencies.
Convenient location for airport/train/bus station/central Girona. Hotel well known by taxi drivers. Good comfortable rooms, decorated to good standard. Restaurant and cafe onsite. Lift to upstairs floors. Helpful and child friendly staff. Great stop over hotel. Many of the extras such as fresh towels, additional heating and toiletries.
There was some confusion with the booking and I was told they were closed on arrival - particularly unwelcome at close to 11pm with a small child in tow! Which was compounded by my ropey Spanish. No hair dryer in room.
Hospitality of the personnel. Surrounding area was good with dogs if you have to let them out at night, police office was just across the street. I felt safe letting my dog out at 2am. Parking was just right in front of the hotel. Very important for us is dog friendly, parking next to the hotel, shops not too close yet not too far, and comfort of a good bed and of course proximity to AP7. This hotel offers all that.
Location was close to PGA Catalunya.
Internet didn't work 3 years ago the last time I stayed there and it was the same this year. Upgrade please!!
We stayed on business and found the hotel staff welcoming, the rooms warm and clean, beds comfortable, shower hot. We also ate in the dining rooms for dinner and breakfast. Both were excellent. All in all, a great place.
The wifi was slow and only available in one area of the hotel
It suited the purpose of my trip perfectly.
