Hostal Fenix is simply perfect. We have stayed twice now and find the hostal central to everything in Jerez. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast a lovely touch - and is a lovely finish to a lovely stay. The rates are amongst the best in Jerez and we commend this hostal to any professional person staying in Jerez. Do not be put off with the word Hostal. This hostal far out ranks some hotels we have stayed in... Literally a two minute walk and you are amongst the very heart of Jerez. Only a 5 minute walk from the Cafe Central which is also a must for those first timers in Jerez. Book online as the price is always competitive and the owners are so nice too. It is a pleasure to recommend this lovely building as somewhere safe, clean and central to stay in Jerez.

This is a great place to stay in Jerez. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the room was spotlessly clean, with plenty of space - good value for money.

Nice clean room and the shower was very good. Good location not far centre but it is a little difficult to find although we did not have sat nav. Although we didn´t have breakfast it looked very nice (other guests). We were not sure where you got it from or if we should have ordered the night before. I was practising my Spanish so it may have got lost in translation : )

Hostel Fenix is in a lovely old building. The room was quite adequate. Breakfast was included. The owners were very helpful and accessible. It is a bit of a walk from nearly all the sights, and a substantial one from many of them.

We liked very much the location, excelent, nearby the city historical center, only a 5 minutes walk. The room was cousy, and the ac is not a luxury, it is really necessary! Also the fridge comes in handy. The street of the hostal is very quiet. The breakfast is simple but fair enough. Staff is friendly and always ready to help. For the price you couldn´t ask for more! In fact... Unfortanely some people still only think in themselves... Closing Doors with a big loud noise was very disturbing. Not hostal fault, bad manner people fault.

The inn keepers, Julia and Joseph, were extremely friendly and helpful. The hostal itself is tastefully decorated and very clean. It has many nice public areas for sitting and talking or having breakfast. It is an excellent choice for visiting Jerez.

Very friendly staff. The hostal is located near the town center, but in a quiet street. If your bags are not too heavy or too numerous, you can easily reach the railroadstation and the bus-station on foot. If you need a place to sleep for a night or two, the Hostal Fenix is an all right and inexpensive alternative. For a longer stay we would prefer more comfort. The breakfast was very basic, and there was no breakfast-room. The bathroom was not as clean as expected. We were not able to find out how to operate the shower! A written instruction or a demonstration on arrival were clearly needed! We did not ask for help, as we were only staying one night, and were going directly to a friend's house were the mysteries of the local showers were well-known to us.
