Hard to find with GPS and was going to charge 10 euros for finding us on street parking when that was the only option and it was 2 blocks away.
A very comfortable bed and breakfast was good
1) Very good location. 2) Friendly and helpful staff. 3) Stylish and clean hostel. 4) big room.
1) breakfast too small and too simple. 2) just few rooms have exterior view.
Family-owned place with super nice host, building very pretty inside, cosy rooms, nice breakfast, very cheap and in the centre of Jerez. Did I mention that the hosts were nice? They really are, will provide you with a city map and will be happy to answer your question. A great place to stay at in Jerez!
We simply liked everything about this hotel. It's small and cozy and decorated so nicely. The staff was very friendly. The street in which the hotel is located isn't very appealing, but once you step inside you're in another world. The centre is very close. There were nice restaurants nearby. The room was perfect, with a fridge. Facilities were perfect too. 'Where's the breakfast?', 'Anywhere you like, we'll bring it too you'. How great is that? We had ours in front of a little Moorish fountain somewhere in the lobby:) Recommendable++
The location was great and the owner arranged parking at a garage nearby which was very handy. You're near some nice tapas bars and restaurants. Every thing is just a quick walk away, except for the Royal School of Equestrian Arts which was a ten minute drive away. The hosts were really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was nice.
The accommodation is great but unfortunately not a lot to see and do in this town. I would probably skip this town and go onto to Seville instead. But the Hostal Fenix was lovely. The reception girl was no overly friendly but the owner was really sweet. Breakfast was basic but just perfect as it is made fresh whenever you are ready and you are offered extra if wanted. Car parking is a little inconvenient as you need to collect a remote control for access and then return it to the hostel each time you wish to access your car. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Wi-fi is free and very reliable. We would recommend this accommodation if staying in this area.
not a lot to see and do in Jerez but the Hostel Fenix is recommended.
Jerez a nice place to visit. The hotel is beautifully presented and near the centre.
Very difficult to park anywhere near, even difficult to drop off bags.
Everything particularly the price. It was great value for money.
Hardly anything really but, just to be picky the breakfast facilities were not ideal.
Perfect hostal for holiday trip.Stylish, clean, very good location and very nice personal. Good choise for this price.
Spotless basic rooms. location (10-min walk from/to the railway station and close to main Jerez points of interest)
very tastefully decorated place, very conveniently located and the owners are superfriendly
you can hear everything that is happening anywhere within this hostel, esp. your neighbors.
The organisation of the internal space was quite fantastic, the number of rooms and the lovely seating are superb. Breakfast was lovely, I am a lover of hot toast and the bread was fresh and hot. The price was extremely good.
There was nothing about the place which didn't like.
We only stayed in the hostal for one night but really liked it. The staff are very friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. Jerez is a very nice little city with a good second-hand market in the centre on Sundays as well as nice bars with music and of course sherry.
inside is a nice, good-looking hotel. well located. very nice and welcoming staff. quiet place.
difficult to park the car but you can pay for a parking space not far from the hotel (1 min by walk).
From the outside you do not expect how nice it is inside. It's lovely decorated and I liked the restored walls with visible bricks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A good little breakfast is served wherever you want to sit. The rooms are spacious and our bed was very comfortable.
The hotel is located next to the city center in a small street which is not very busy. The decoration of the hotel was very nice and typical from the region. The breakfast was small but it was nice taking it in the patio.
location and great breakfast. coupon, first sherry free at local sherry/tapas bar. every night a sherry nite cap. a couple of blocks to the great restaurants but with sit down beer breaks half way.
Beautiful modern hotel, great bed and spacious clean bathroom. Very friendly staff. Perfect location to discover Jerez.
Proximity to tourist sites
Eveything is closed on Sunday Should have a door between bedrooms in a 2 bedtoom apartment. Difficult to find and park car
The Staff is great! The location is near the center and you can park you car for free near the hostel (just have to look around)
Very friendly and helpful staff who have good recommendations. Proximity to the city and its sights. Decor of the hostel. Small fridge in the room, very nice in a hot climate!
The room was quite small and the amenities where very basic.
The staff was really nice and helpful. The location is the best! Just a few blocks from the train and bus stations, and a few blocks from the center and sights of interest. The decoration on the courtyard is beautiful, perfect to take the breakfast there. The breakfast is basic, but good enough.
The matress, and our room was a little bit dark.
The atmosphere was amazing: a typical andalusian house, renovated to be a hotel but still very traditional. You can ask to take breakfast in your own room or in one of the internal "patios". The room was comfortable and the staff was really kind. From the hotel you can reach by foot both the train and bus station, and the city centre.
There is no window and no ventilation fan in the bathroom. You cannot choose what you want to eat for breakfast, which is not necessarily bad, but it is maybe important to know it before.
Very friendly, helpful owners! Nice place to stay.
