stuff are so friendly
Staff were kind and understanding
No ac in july Too loud at night bc of plaza restaurant downstairs Checkin time was horrible
The location is fantastic and located right on the square (though it quietens down about midnight so not too big a noise problem) and also near many funky tapas places and of course in the middle of all the sights too. The staff are very nice and helpful, though speak no English at all so you will need to know a little Spanish or have a translation book
We arrived in the afternoon and had to find a phone to call reception, then once the staff arrived we were just sort of 'dumped' as he ran off without notice to return to work in a bar next door. A bit more than 1 minute greeting would have been nice. Also, Wifi only worked for us in the common areas and not in our room which didnt affect the stay but was a little annoying
the staff has attitude,
location in the plaza , so cool , clean, people are very friendly,
in summer... maybe will be hard to sleep....
warm welcome new and clean bathroom lot of space in the bedroom
quite noisy location
Excellent value for money in a great central location. Shared bathroom and toilets but plenty of them and they are very clean.
started good, after all, it is a fairly cheap place.
Staff was friendly, until i started asking 'difficult' questions. Then friendlyness quickly disappeared. Beds are short, room very very basic
Incredible value for the money! Great place for a young couple. Our room had a balcony and a super sweet view out over the plaza! Great location to walk everywhere in Córdoba. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
Location was fine, but hard to find.
Noisy, street noises, and the owner and family talking at the top of their lungs past midnight. Thank god for earplugs!
Staff were very helpful and flexible, coming back out to re-open when we arrived late. Easy walking distance to the centre, with good bars closer around.
You need a key in order to leave! Reception hours are not great for arrival times - and communication of our planned check-in got lost. But they sorted us out.
NOTHING! This place is absolutely FILTHY AND DISGUSTING
This place has posted amazing pictures on Booking.com. In reality it's a disgusting, run-down hostel. When we arrived the person on-site was clearly high on something harder than weed. Upon check-in he offered 2 rooms, both came off as bedbug guarantee. We chose one as it was very late at night. Mattresses were super uncomfortable. I saw roaches everywhere. Wifi wasn't strong enough to hit the room right next to the lobby. Shared bathrooms and showers - no comment. The place is very loud and lot's of people keep on slamming doors. Oh, also, this place is shut down every day betweeb 2pm and 6pm so good luck checking-in during afternoon hours.
Location it is v near mesquita. I liked that hostel is in the corredera sq. Makes for a unique staying experience. Staff did help me with my luggage on arrival. Else the climb upstairs wld probably have been quite hard for me. The tavern downstairs that served lunch special was v good. Tapas and sangria for < 10€.
When I asked where to board the bus to get back to train station, staff told me same bus stop where I alighted first day. It turned out to be untrue becuz bus driver told me although bus goes in a loop, it would take an hour to get back to train station from that stop. In the end he kindly offered to drop me at the correct bus stop free of charge! Thank God else I may have missed my train. I had a single room. Tiny one without window that opens to the square. I had to step out of my room to see it. A little disappointed but since I only stayed a nite, I let it go. Amenities and bathroom v basic but ok. Overall It was still a pleasant stay.
walking distance to the centre, nice decorcation and clean room. friendly owner even they dont know english but still can provided good service
no elevator....pls request the first floor if u carry a big luggage
The location is very good. Yes the plaza corredera can be a bit noisy but seriously, this is no big deal. You are a 7minute walk from the mezquita-catedral and all the other must-see atractions. The friendly staff provided us a map of the city and gave us a small but enlightening explanation about the city. The shared toilets were always clean. I would definitely stay att hospedaria la corredera again! Thank you!
Excellent staff. They were very friendly and accommodating.
Rooms were small and had little light.
The first place we've stayed in Spain where the owners have paid attention to design - the place has character, looking traditional-but-modern. Also, the shower is amazingly good - powerful and hot!
The wall between our bedroom and the neighbouring one was very thin - we heard too much!
The staff didn't have the record of payment. I have pay through my debit card after my booking and was asked to pay again on the day on stay. I didn't have the proof of payment at that time and I had to pay again. After that I checked my bank account (already leave the hostel)and sent them the email to ask for refund, they never reply my email. I only got it sort it out after seeing the tourist office in Seville. Make sure you got your record of payment if you want to stay there.
Location was good in terms of being near mezquita and other sights, room itself and washing facilites were fine.
Ridiculous checking in hours, closed between 2:30pm and 5pm, I arrived around a minute after 2:30pm and despite there being people inside they ignored me and would not even let me leave my backpack so had to walk around with it for the next few hours. I am aware these hours are usually siesta in spain but no other place I have stayed does this. When I did check in, the guy was rude and I didnt see another staff member the whole stay. Noise on the street up till around 3am made sleeping very difficult. Ive stayed in many places in Spain and this is the only negative review ive had to leave
Very central location so easy to get around. Room was small but clean and adequate for my needs. Bathrooms very clean.
The price for it being in La Corredera is the noise! I had to buy ear plugs-it could be quite noisy inside too with other guests, but the earplugs did the trick.
It was a quirky style hotel right on the Corredera Plaza and well located.
Parking is 1km away. The square can get a bit noisy at night.
Great location, amazing views and clean. Great deal!
Near to the Plaza La Corredera
Excelent location and very friendly staff, very helpful all the time, makes you feel like family. Excelent price too.
Since it it so close to an emblematic place like Plaza Corredera, at times a bit noisy due to crowd drinking but not too much.
The location itself is a plaza building and very cozy and clean. Staying in this hostel made me so relaxed. I think its unique setting and decoration make you melted into this white and blue town. Bus to Cordoba station is very easy. Not to mention it is very near the Catheral
There is not enough celling light during the night in the room. Adding a table lamp or bedside lamp would be great
