This university residence is located in Málaga’s historic quarter, within 500 ft of the city’s cathedral and the Picasso Museum. It is a 10 minute walk from the city’s Alameda Principal Bus Station.

These air-conditioned apartments have various locations in central Málaga, all within a 10-minute walk of Málaga Cathedral. They feature modern décor, free Wi-Fi and some feature a French balcony.

Hotel Sur is in central Málaga, a short walk from the Picasso Museum and Atarazanas Market. This elegant hotel offers a lounge area and free Wi-Fi in all rooms.
Score from 1806 reviews Very good
I was very surprised to be given an apartment rather than just a single room which was just two streets away. Only downside was no WIFI!! The position was excellent if you want to be in the city centre which has lots of n bars and restaurants to choose from. The beach was about 30 minutes walk away and loved eating in the chiringitos. Loved Malaga and the surrounding areas and will definitely be visiting it and the Juanita again very soon.
No wifi in the apartment.
Friendly staff Clean bathroom In the city centre
Very small room
Great location, nice staff and value for money.
They really need air condition in the rooms, a fan is not enough.
It is very clean, quiet and basically comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is well located, easy for buses to station/airport etc. I used it for a one-nighter en route to/from my destination and was very satisfied (senior citizen going backpacking)
On arrival I was a bit stumped as it is upstairs on the fourth floor (by lift). If the street door is shut you have to ring on the bell and hope someone can speak to you in a language you understand!
Friendly staff, hotel was in a good location, many cafes and restaurants close by.
Clean Central Comfortable Looked after my bag for free after check-out!
Fan too loud to use at night
Location in the city center and near the beaches.. The staff is helpful and friendly. Hostel is very clean and the staff takes care of hygiene. At the reception the service is 24 hours a day. Except credit card we had no problems and we were satisfied with the hostal.
There is no fridge. There is no microwave. There is no possibility of dry t-shirt, swimsuit or other underwear. There is only one chair for two people. There is no computer and internet on reception. No everybody bring the notebook with him to Spain. My unpleasant experience. Receptionist required at the reception to submit my credit card from which I was paid accommodation. I was not warned in advance, and only by chance I took my embossed credit card with me. They argued that if the accommodation has been paid on the stolen card and they did not verify my credit card with number of account, the police shut them in jail. Justification for their demands to see my credit card is in my opinion totally misguided. For hostel it should be significant whether accomodation was or was not paid. In my opinion for hostel it is no important to see the credit card from which it was paid account for accomodation, to compare credit card numbers and signatures. After all, how to solve the problem, if my son paid accomodation for me, so I would have to show at reception the credit card of my son? But my signature is different from the signature of my son. Or if I will pay accommodation of my grandchild, so I shall give my credit card to my grandchild? But my signature is different from the signature of my grandchild. I was afraid and I gave immediately instructed the bank to block my embossed credit card.
Excellent - fabulous stay. Staff very helpful
Good personal, good location
Bad for sleeping, very noisey
Location location location. It's fantastic to be in the heart of the city, super close to the main road and squares. Room are simple but clean, and while bathrooms are shared, every room has its own sink.
I wish it was easier to find (we had to ask no less than 6 people to get there), and it was more visible from the street.
Extreme friendly and helpfull staff. Spotless clean bathroom. Small but convenient room, also very clean. Perfect price for location.
Mario the owner is very nice and helpfull person. I booked the wrong date by mistake and he let me manage my booking free of charge.Great location and the pension is very clean. We could also leave our bags post-checkout for free.I strongly recommend pension Juanita and will definatly go back.
The location is perfect as it is right in the centre (nice restaurants, lot of shops and bars) and a 15 minute walk to the beach (Malagueta). The rooms and the bathroom are very clean.
One thing I didn't like was the way we were greeted like we were intruders as we arrived late but the day after everything was fine.
Location was excellent.
Bed was too short for my husband, walls were so thin that we could hear one of the neighbours wee.
very central area. good value for money, nice and helpfull staff. I would stay there again if i traveled to malaga without a car.
No parking. payed 26Euros for the overnight public parking so you might consider a hotel with a parking (difficult to find one though)
24 hr reception helpful and friendly very clean central location near to Cathedral Lots of good value cafes and restaurants
Only fans Air conditioning not available which would be a problem in high Summer
good equipped adn clean room, soap and towels in the bathroom, very good location
Perfect location to get everywhere in the city. Very friendly staff, helpful advices.
Parking is not so easy around, but anyway the staff showed the way to park walking a bit.
Great location, not expensive
good location for town cenre and transport
i have nothing at all to complain about
The desk person was wonderful and always available. The room was spartan, but the bed was very good, and both beds had usable reading lights--these two aspects being important to me. The shared bathroom was well appointed.
It was difficult to locate. Taxi drivers will not know where it or its address are located, since it is in a pedestrian mall. This could be fixed with further information provided by the pension. The pedestrian location means it is quiet, and restaurants are steps away.
Is as described. Unpretentious, clean, good value and very central. Good places to eat , within 3 minute walk and management will give you ideas too. Just off Calle Larios, marked by landmark Gin bottle ad- vertisemnt tower Will use again, as a base for any future trips. cooling by fans fine but maybe an issue in high summer.
Lift door sometimes left open, meaning a fair walk to the 4th floor reception.
We booked in for one night here to enjoy Malaga's night life before heading off for a holiday in Nerja, We arrived past midnight but were greeted so warmly by the receptionist who showed to our room and marked on a map where we could find bars etc. We'd opted for an en suite and the room was spotless, there was plenty of soap/shower gel and hot water in the bathroom. The situation of the hostal is brilliant - only a short walk from Malaga Alameda train station and in the best location for the bars and restaurants in the city centre. Would definitely book here again - friendly, helpful staff; clean, comfortable room; and an unbeatable location.
Clean, basic room.
One could hear every noise on the corridor.
