the staff were fairly friendly and the room was very clean, great location

there was no light shade on the ceiling light which made it impossible to have the light on which in turn made the room very dark, the room was very small

Great location for train / bus station for onward journey. Easy 15 minute walk to city centre.

Very clean place

We were welcomed by a Spanish front desk clerk who spoke a bit of English. When asked, transferred us to another room because wifi signal was stronger. When asked, he also called Tapeo de Cervantes and booked us a table for 2 in Spanish. Location is perfect, it is right in front of the trainstation. Room is well presented.

Wifi signal does not reach all the rooms, lucky us we got transferred when we realized that. But when the season picks up, I think it will be difficult.

The best is the location for travelers, just in front of the train station. Also, the price, cheaper for the benefits that you can take. They can took with your baggage after the check out.

The bathroom is not so good, especially the shower, that's very small with plastic curtains.

Located in front of train & bus station. If you need to visit Ronda / Nerja, or you have to go to airport, this hotel is good choice. Maintaining cleanness in spite of budget hostal.

You can go to city center on foot, but it will take 30 mins. Staff can speak very basic English only. They check if TV remote controller was returned when a guest check out.

A good location for bus and train stations.

Single room was very small. No natural light apart from small window in en suite room.

1 minute walk to train, 2 minute walk to bus station or supermarket. 10+ minutes to downtown. Clean, comfortable room. Great quality for the price.

Just a little bit of noise from other rooms.

excellent value, very clean. Ideally located over the road from the Maria Zambrano rail stationand five minutes walk from the bus staion. Great place for stopover or a longer stay.

Right next to the train station

Strong chemical smell in the rooms, not very clean. The beds were vet hard, and the rooms were noisy.

Location was perfect, very easy to get to airport from hostel.

The hostal is a no-nonsense city place, right by the stations and perfect for anyone in transit

As with so many Spanish hotels and hostals, the smell of cigarette smoke in some rooms

Basic but very clean and in a great location right opposite the train station Maria Zambrano which is only 8mins on the train from the airport. Easy walk to all the sights and good shopping in the Centro Larios just a couple of minutes walk away. Quiet rooms which felt safe. Very friendly and helpful staff.

convenience, price etc etc. know the place from several visits over the years and DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT, i just book it!

Excellent location for the train station to the airport and elsewhere, friendly staff, free wi-fi, good value.

We had a room right next to the street which was very noisy and the bed was too hard.

Clean

The beds were hard

Very clean. No fluff under the beds. The train and bus station were within easy walking distance. The bus to the airport left every half hour, starting at 6 am, and the trip takes about 20 mins. You could also walk to the cathedral, Picasso museam, etc. within about 30 mins.

There was a smell in the room. It was a 'clean' smell. Something to do with what they clean the rooms with, I think. Don't let it stop you using this hostel.
