Location is convenient, close to shopping, beach and restaurants
The room was tiny and the smell was truly sickening. The bed linen was clean but with holes. I didn't even venture to try the breakfast there.
Price position, 5 min from town centre and the old area of the city Wifi
Breakfast included to avoid!!!
Basic clean hotel. Great value for money. Excellent location for Alicante main town. 5-10 mins for great night life. 15 mins to beach. Great if away for short weekend with friends.
Area can be a little noisy at night but ear plugs were supplied in room! Very basic but does the job nicely. Not really for children.
Great stay, pleasant helpful staff, spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable and great value for money. Hope to return again some day soon! !!
Leaving at the end of my holiday.
Very friendly and amusing staff Very clean and tidy
No view from the window. Quite a lot of noise in the night/morning. Mainly from the other rooms(Aircon, shower etc.).
Great value for money, great location and wifi
Everything was good for the price we paid: 51euros 2persons 1night breakfast included. It is near to the center and the staff is friendly.
We had to pay 1 euro extra for 1 slice of ham during breakfast, maybe it is normal for Spain but it seemed a bit much.
Breakfast is small, but worth taking it. Fresh Orange Juice is awesome. Rooms cleaned daily Close to the tram and Dia / Hipercor shops
This hotel is in a great location in city centre. Excellent value for money, clean, room was spacious enough, and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.
Staff were a little eccentric! But, in fairness, answered any questions asked and were helpful.
Very clean, centrally located, air conditioning very quiet.
Traffic noise, very small room and the person in the room above pacing the room until gone 2 am.
The location in alicante was brilliant, in a very busy area next to the central market place.
The hotel is just behind the central market so the area can look quite dirty and also a bit smelly, but as we were out most of the trip I think that it's a minor issue. With this hotel you get what you pay for, it's a no fills hotel but location and service were excellent, and every thing was very clean.
Clean , reasonable prize, great location
Clean. Reasonably central, walking distance to the marina. It had an elevator.
Had to leave key in reception when going out.
Excellent location. 1min walk to the central market, 3min to the tram and bus stops, 10+ min to the beach, many small shops and cafeterias nearby.
We have gained deeper Spanish language skills because the staff didn't speak English :)
Good location Friendly old reception staff (not english speaking) Air conditioner (noisy)
Disco noise 0:00-8:00 Meager breakfast (coffee, juice, one toast, marmalades) Only spanish speaking reception staff
close to the city centre close to the beach
To much noises on street
- distance from airport - location (close to main street - Av. Alfonso el Sabio) - friendly staff - cheap menu in restaurant
- breakfast (only one toast with orange juice and coffee) - only one person in hostel can speak english - quite noisy surroundings and not too clean
Excellent location. Walking distance to town, beach, restaurants and castle. Train station and bus station also very close. Hot water in the shower is very hot and instant. Very good for steaming the hell out of creased shirts (see negative comment)
One of the staff was a little rude when i asked for an iron (una plancha). He spoke no english and as I tried to communicate and understand him with my spanglish he got louder and more rude. Finally I discovered I couldn't get one till the next day which was no good as I needed it that night. Shower curtain sticks to you like glad wrap.
Really well located just few minutes walking to the center, which is the most beautiful part of the city, spotless toilet and room. Sleep mask and ear plugs are given free. The café beside is quiet and affordable, excellent place to have breakfast.
The old man at the reception desk can be pretty weird and I am not sure if he can speak any other language but Spanish.
It was very well located, in a quiet street but close to everything
Excellent location, clean room, accommodating staff.
Lots of transmitted noise, and was very noisy on the Saturday night - people singing in their room...
The beds were clean and very solid and comfortable for weary travellers such as us.The staff tried very hard to bridge the language barrier which was very noble of him.
The walls were not sound proof. You could here noises from rooms occupied on the same floor.
This is a nice little hostel behind the market in Alicante. It is reasonably priced and is excellent value.
