To much noise!

Location is excellent! It is located 1 minute away from Plaza de Catelunya with many metro line and bus connections. The airport bus stops there, too. Also public lockers for luggage are located 1 minute away from there.

Most of the staff does not speak English.

The location was PERFECT and on top of that it was the best value for money! The shared bathroom was great, clean. with warm water all the time and never had to wait to get in.

Not very soundproof room. Only one towel in the room. But all these drawbacks are overleaped by the price!

Central location is perfect for walking all over town. It is right by Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202 which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street. People watching was great fun. Lots of flags hanging from balcony. Abraham day staff was so lovely, very jolly and helpful. It is a bit dilapidated but I didn't mind that. If you want uber posh it's not for you.

The noise. First night stayed at back of hostal. The walls are very thin so could hear the conversation next door very clearly. First night in room at the front of hostal was woken by street noise at 4am. Busy shopping street and so lorries unloading from very early. Soon got used to it and managed to sleep through. Pigeons were roasting in the pipes above the bathroom, so long as closed the bathroom door at night wasn't too bothered by them.

I didn't feel particularly safe leaving my belongings in the room. If there were (large) lockers for the guests to put their bags in and they alone would hold the keys, it might be safer for the guests' luggage.

The Hotel is located in an old building in the very center city of Barcelona. The price is very reasonable and the wifi is good.

No windows in the room, and the outlet is broken. But with the price I pay, I can not expect more.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. On one of the best avenues in Barcelona. The towels were fresh & the beds comfy.When I go back I would stay there again.

I tried to use the computer(the WiFi signal wasn't very good) but the letters were worn away on the keyboard. Not being the same type I couldn't use it. So couldn't check in to my flight. Not really a big deal.

This hostel is centrally located which was absolutely brilliant! You can easily catch the airport bus to Plaza Catalunya and walk to the hostel.

Bedroom doors are not soundproof so you can hear absolutely everything. Rooms felt a little damp.

The best hotel I've ever seen for that price! Very friendly personal on reception, very nice location, we had the best room ever #202! I loved the hotel and if I return to Barcelona, I'll definately choose this hotel againl!!! You are the best, thank you guys! Kisses from Ukraine!!!

Good value for money and located exactly in the center of the city. Close to major turistic atractions.Very basic, but clean. Very close to the aerobus station (from\to the airport)

The staff spoke very little english and it was difficult to talk to them. Also, there was an unpleasant smell in our room (mold i guess), coming from the bathroom. Overall,considering the price it was ok.

our room was half of a bigger room, that was probably splitted to two rooms. it wasn't isolated very well, we could almost hear what other guests were talking in the other (half) room. no real window on our room. but all in all, we were looking for a cheap room in such a great location only for one night: for us and for the price it was fine

Perfect location, clean rooms and toilets. It is good if you want to spend just nights there or need to go to the airport. Very nice staff.

Beds uncomfortable, easy to hear other hotel patrons, but great value!

Let's start with the location. You couldn't ever even dream of a better one if your'e in the city for shopping, partying or just looking around with your friends. Right above Stradivarius next to H&M? Exactly. And next to all the coolest clubs and bars. The hostel in itself were also waay over our expectations. For that amazingly cheap prize you got perfectly well working, simple but very clean rooms. Little extras were the shared, but recently renovated, really nice bathrooms, the free internet and computer in the shared living room, and the 24h reception. And of course, once again, the location. I am soo going back!

I really have like nothing negative to say, except that one little plus would be that the staff would speak at least a little bit english. But everything worked well anyway so it wasn't really a big deal. Another thing to think about is the really old building and the really, really thin walls. We didn't care about it but I got the feeling our neighbors did get a bit annoyed by two 20 year old girls living next door...

The hostel is in an absolutely fantastic location. The staff are super friendly, and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. We had a double room with no bathroom, and I didn't expect have a sink in there and towels.

Just a very very tiny little thing; it would've been nice to have a bedside lamp in the room other than that I can't really fault it!

Good central location

If you fancy staying in a prison for the night here's the place to go. Tiny, depressing room with bad lighting. Clinking and clanking of keys all night with people coming and going all night. Paid 40 Euros for the night (2 people) and I wouldn't have paid 10 for it. I would never stay there again. We live just outside Barcelona and needed a bed for an early flight in the morning. There are lots of nicer, cheaper places to stay in the area - I recommend you stay in these instead.
