The location is great, just off Plaza Trinidad, close to the Cathedral and walkable distance to Sacromonte, Albacin, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful, calling a taxi for us in the morning. The room was clean and equipped with a hair dryer and TV. Comfy beds and grand decor. I recommend this hostel.
The decor - it's like being in a museum. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean.
The hostess was lovely. so helpful and considerate. Very relaxed and none of the attitude you often get in little hotels. What I likes: the location is next to plaza Trinidad, great shopping and places to eat or drink and not far from all the nightlife. good location to the gay bars if you are that way inclined, easy stagger at 4am after a few large copas. The best thing about this place was the BED. it was cross between ortho and memory phone. I stayed an extra night just to enjoy the good night sleep I had, best ive had in a hotel in years... yes its noisy, so if your neighbours are getting over excited you will hear it... there is a big TV with decent cabel ( Spanish ). and the bathroom is clean and shower was hot for long enough. I didn't try breakfast and I also made use of the garage car park next door which you do have to pay for but it secure and safe. If you are coming at weekends you are fine anywhere on the street I only used car park for the Monday....
I didn't know there was free wifi, my fault for not asking. being winter it was cold but the aircon unit doubles up as a heater which is fine if you leave it on while you are out just a bit noisy during the night and the bathroom stays cold. but hey its Granada they have cold winters like northern Europe. you will be cosy in the bed with great covrs and sheets .... The room was a little small but for one person I was more than happy. a couple would be fine too.. the water heater made some random noise in the middle of the night and the beds squeak a little, but its no drama... id love to come back in the summer. hey for the price I paid - it was super cheap and super comfy.... id use this place as a crash pad again on a night out in Granada for sure.... also, it would have been great if there was a vending machine to buy water, juice , or something... I ended up drinking tap water. also a kettle to make a cup of tea would have been perfect.
Location is close to all the touristsights, staff is friendly but beside the younger girl they dont speak English
Beds are noicy and to soft, you can hear everything from your neighbours and outside, shower didnt work proper.
All was very good
carmen welcomed us like family. she assisted in parking the car, with luggage, gave us directions to sights, shops, cafes and transport. the room was delightful, clean, modern, unique! a short walk to everything. will definitely revisit.
room was a tiny bit cold in the depths of winter. but the doona was toasty warm.
Really clean and comfortable, no noise from the street and helpful staff.
The Wi-fi was intermittent, but not a big deal.
Location: close to the center of the town. No need to take a bus or taxi to go to Alhambra.
Can't connect to wifi, old towels, owner yelled at us for leaving the washroom lights on but did not realize we did so because the light bulb in the bes stand went out. Told us cash only for hotel payment when on booking.com said they accept major credit cards
Great central location, easy to find, easy communication with the hotel.
This beautiful boutique hostel has a good location close to Plaza de Trinidad, Cathedral and in walking distance to Albaycin and Alhambra (25 min walk). There is lots of restaurants around. I really liked interior decorated in moorish and medieval style. There was nice smell and music in shared area. Room was small but comfortable. Staff friednly and we got many useful information about sights and tapas in Granada.
Welcome, comfort, location, decor
Good location, helpful staff and beautiful decor.
Unstable Internet. Problems in the flow of water down the drain of the box. The water heating is done by accumulating, which limits the number of baths with hot water.
Clean, comfortable, spacious, great location hosted by excellent, helpful owners. One of the best pensions we have stayed in in our two months in Spain. All fixtures worked, soap and shampoo provided. The inside decor is colourful and fun and worth the stay in of itself.
Can't say enough good things abut Hotel Lima. Great location. Beautiful quiet room. Great neighborhood. Lovely owners. Incredible value.
Family atmosphere with some exotic decoration
The room is bit small
run by extremely friendly people. got new towels every day, very clean. Brilliant breakfast for low. Nice furnitured and a lovely ambiente. Very recommentable!!!!!
Other guests slamming doors and behave like idiots!! Thinking just because they paid for it they can behave as if they are at home!!! And do not show any respect toward the people who run this place!!!!!
Romms are a little small.
Best thing was the wonderfully comfortable bed after a day of sight-seeing.
As a mature couple, both with bad backs, having to haul suitcase and bags up to the fourth floor.
The location, the large bedroom, the helpful staff.
The wi-fi was downstairs.
What a excellent place to stay for a holiday in Granada. Don't think this as a Hostel as we know in Britain, it is a lovely small hotel with 5* rooms. We stayed in a suite and well worth the extra few pounds. Nice and central but down a quite street so no traffic going past. Staff were great, and breakfast very tasty. Don't miss out on this little gem.
You'll feel like a king (or a queen) at this place. Each room is regal, comfortable, and ours had the added bonus of containing a scandalous relief on the wall that ended up being about a Greek myth we'd forgotten about. The balconies are cute, and you can peek out the window and spy at the city through them. I liked looking out to the right to see what was happening down the way in the plaza. The hotel is down a little alley across from a bar, which ordinarily would be a concern, but the walls are quite thick, and us light sleepers never had a problem with that. There is a plaza at one end of the alley, and if you go that way for about 5-10 minutes, you end up at what I think was the Catedral de Granada. The Alhambra is only a ~20/30 minute walk through cool windy cobblestone streets. The breakfast at the Hostal Lima is fantastic, plus your seatmates are knights in shining armor (literally!). I think it's one of the best breakfasts we had on our trip. You get tomatoes, diced jamon, choice of breads to toast, fresh squeezed orange juice, fancy cafe con leche (highly recommended!), melons or kiwis or apples or oranges or plums (each day there were multiple fruit options), yogurt, little cakes, and more that I'm probably forgetting. On top of it all, the owners of the place are really nice. I can't get over how kind and helpful they were to us throughout our stay there.
Our favorite Andalusian hotel so far! Excellent central location, quiet enough to sleep with the window open. Cosy room with shiny new bathroom. Very nice breakfast for 6 euros. Friendly staff, speak good English plus other languages. Arriving by car: the gps took us there alright but we couldn't find a place to stop, so went to La Paz garage right away. Staff said it's not their garage so we probably wouldn't get a discount, but we did - it was 12 euros per night which is ok.
No complaints, just be aware not all the rooms are like the one in the pictures. Ours was so narrow we could hardly open the suitcase but we loved it :-)
The photos of the rooms will not disappoint, this is a uniquely decorated hotel which is central for seeing all the sights in Granada. The owners are very friendly, they sorted out our parking and provided plenty of ideas for things to do in Granada. They also provided a lovely Andalusian breakfast. Would go back again.
Our rooms were opposite a bar which was a bit noisy on some nights. But earplugs/an ipod (and an extra glass of wine) can cancel this out!
Situated in historic City People very helpful
