I loved the location. It is very central near 'La Seta' (the Metropol). Other facilities are very basic but I guess it is a fair deal for the price you pay. Good wifi.
I did not like the windowless room I got and I think that should be clearly advertised in the first place. Also, the room was quite chilly as the heater was not very powerful.
We liked the location, the lobby is very old style & beautiful * Price was good
Beds were ok but not the most comfortable *
The location was great (it is a little hard to find at first) it was quiet at night
The hot water was unpredictable and you have to leave the key to your room when you go out (not a big deal just not my favorite)
Staff, very pretty building, cosy bedroom, central location.
Staff was helpful and accommodating, and the booking was fine value for what it cost.
The pension was very safe, having a 24h concierge and the balcony being lookable.
However, we had a million mosquitos in our room. We didn't always have hot water.
Good location, nice staff, good terrace. Perfect to get through the night.
This hostel is well located in a quiet Calle at the edge of the cultural/historical area of Sevilla and not difficult to find ... the room is clean and quiet with a private bathroom and this offered good value for money. The hostel did not provide any breakfast however there are several cafes very near. The hostel staff were helpful and friendly. The Sevilla Santa Justa station is 5 minutes by taxi which are easily accessible in the main street less than 100 metres away. Apart from the mosquities this hostel is a good placenter to stay.
Mosquitoes were a big problem. The hostel staff did spray my room on request however this did not help and the smell of the spray was very strong and stayed in the room for most of the night.
Too noisy, they didnt clean the room between guests and the services they promised on the web weren't real, no towels, no shampoo or soap, no tv. Also the hostel us full of mosquitos, I got bited everywhere and even using the mosquito kills spray.. Was imposible. The daytime receptionist was rude and annoying.
The hostal was situated fairly close to the historic centre. The overall decor was very traditionally tiled and looked lovely even if it did need a bit of cleaning and care. Friendly concierge.
Had difficulty finding it and despite being metres away Concierge had trouble with recognising local restaurant when I asked for directions. The bedroom and bathroom were in need of a complete deep clean and refurbishment, beds broken and hard with "iffy" bedlinen. Towels grey and threadbare, filthy shower curtain and shower tray overflowed so unable to put down a bathmat and had to stand on dirty floor. Sleep interrupted by constant noise (talking night porter) from reception which reverberated as it was situated in an atrium type structure that was outside the doors. Bitten to death by mozzies. Doors broken and tatty. Rooms were not just tired but practically unconcious.
Everything ... Mou bueno
Beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked really well. Located 3 minutes walking from Las Cetas and 2 minutes from restaurants, where you can have a traditional breakfast. Terrace is spacious. Staff speaks mostly spanish but if you know only english this won't be a huge problem. Value for money - very good.
A little bit dirt on the floor, small bathroom, no view from the window - wall of next building, terrace a bit dirty.
> very nice building, lobby, nice room, tiled as traditional, clean > no problem with internet > nice enough staff, helpful though not too friendly - which we didn't mind as we only checked in and out, not much more to solve:) they gave us a map.
there's no common room or kitchen, but we didn't mind it really, it's just that it is not a sociable hostel atmosphere kind of place, more like a hotel room with reception.
Very good price, central and quiet location
The room was announced with balcony but didn't even have a window to the outside of the building, just towards the pathway of the patio.
The room is what you have for 29 euros a night. I saw some bad comments but really it's not a 4* but beds are pretty nice, bathrooms are tidy, and rooms spacious. You have to choose between a window open to the street at 1st floor or no window to outside at all, just one open to the patio and finally on the street it's not that bad even if you can't open the curtains. The street is not noisy and you can sleep well.
The staff doesn't speak english at all and is kind of grumpy.
Location , decoration
Towel not clean
roof tarace good localization nice interior
no contact with other guests
room was very good value for money
night staff were rude, they don't greet you they just shush you, but I guess if others are sleeping they do it to try and keep noise down
good deco, quiet room, amazing bathroom, nice staff.
No elevator, which is normal in Sevilla but no help from the staff to carry the luggage
The location is great, near to centre and calm place.
If you have car, you could have luck for parking or you have to find some publick parking where you need pay.
The rooms were nicely decorated and the guest house is very central so it's easy to walk to other places from there.
Some of the staff members were very serious and not so friendly! The bed was very uncomfortable and it was quite noisy in the rooms in general. I didn't like the fact that you weren't allowed to take your room key with you.
pretty place; traditional old medina home; room was clean and comfy; AC worked so and so (a newer unit would be appreciated).
Staff rotation at the reception desk is high, so its hard to establish a personal relationship with the hotel personnel
The hostal with ceramic walls looks very nice. We enjoyed to be there.
Beautiful. Simple standard. Well worth the money.
This review is based on the fact we only paid 25 Euro per night. For this we got a clean comfortable room which was all we required. Very convenient location.
No place to make cup of tea. Staff not welcoming
