-Perfect location. -All important places (Retiro Park, Museums, Attocha train station, shops, restaurants etc) were 5-10 minutes by foot. -Very friendly staff (English, Spanish). -3 minutes by foot from metro station Gran via and very easy to go to the airport with only 2 train changes. -Very friendly doorman for 24hours. -It's a clean hotel. -Perfect wifi. -Safety hotel with 24h security staff.

-You have to leave the room keys at reception when you leave and ring the doorbell to be let into the hostal after 10pm. -For shower there wasn't shampoo, conditioner etc without extra charge. Only shoap was free of charge. -There wasn't a hairdryer at each room. You must ask the reception staff to give you.

The central location, the building (decoration and style!), the fact that a safe was available, the friendly staff

The staff were really friendly, the location was excellent (2 minutes away from some of the local high street shops, as well as the plaza del sol, and next to the metro stop) but still really quiet.

You have to leave the room keys at reception when you leave and ring the doorbell to be let into the hostal.

Great location, metro, busses and Hop on Hop off bus nearby. Cool old building. They have two elevators.

Tiny room with very little light from the window as it looked into a tiny courtyard with four stories above. No sign at the entrance saying that the hotel is on the second floor and you always have to ring the bell at the hotel door.

The location is perfect to visit Madrid's major sights. The hotel is close to the metro station ( one block) coming from the bus station, and to the airport bus ( three blocks). It provides basic, clean accomodation.

There is no real patio/terrace or lounge to relax. If what you want is a clean place with a bed and a shower, this is the right place. The hotel occupies one floor in a building that houses other hotels on other floors. Through the air shaft where the windows of the interior rooms open, you get the cigarette smoke of all the smoking guests of the rest of the building.

Location! You can get to 24 hours airport bus stop by walk in 10min. It was extremely important, as I had early flight, so this bus was the only way to get to airport by public transport. Personal was very polite and helpful. Good price/quality.

Shower cab was super small, but anyway ok

This hostel was easy to find, right near the metro Gran Via, the room was tiny but clean and sufficient for a solo traveller. For the price it was a good choice for one night. Would stay there again.

very well located (close to the metro "gran via", close to puerta del sol, in the center of the city (you can do most of things by foot), not in the party zone), safe, the owner are really helpful, efficient and kind (they speak english), the rooms are clean (with wifi connection) : I recommand this hotel !

the room may be small for some people, but anyway, when you come to Madrid you don't stay at home !
