Very central so ideal if walking the GR221. Was able to get Wifi, find good restuarant for Dinner and head off at 9am the next morning.
Nothing not to like, don't expect Luxury though.
Located in heart of Soller, a great base for exploring the mountains. Friendly staff. Good price. Happily stay again.
Minor niggles - takes a while for shower to warm up and would prefer shower to be mounted on wall rather than handheld.
Good location ,friendly owner - courtyard garden for relaxing and breakfast.
The location within the city. Nice patio.
The staff. Bad reception of customers.
Went with this as just doing overnight stop. Stayed in Private twin room on first floor. Spanking clean. Good quality bed linen. Comfy bed. Bar for evening if you want. 5 mins walk main plaza. Car park payable at 6 euros for whole day next door. Shower pressure great...
Bring earplugs. Thin walls and tiled floors mean that no matter how quiet people try to be the noise echoes.
-Good location -Clean room -Helpfull staff although they speak very little english
- Noisy, very little room
The outdoor garden area had budgies, a tortoise and terrapins along with lovely plants. Staff were very nice and friendly, room was clean and had an amazing view of the town and mountains. Good value for money and a comfy bed.
We went out for dinner in the centre and everything, even any bars were shut by 23:45, we were told it would be better to go to the port for something more lively. You can get the tram into the port and a taxi back if you are after that sort of thing.
Location, price, and general relaxed atmosphere.
Optional breakfast was not that good.
Very basic but good if you don't expect luxury, we had a room facing the inner yard and thus very silent
Wifi not in the room, only in lobby
Hostal is a clean hostal and very cheap. The placement is good - near the City centre and a fine starting point for hiking. A bit hot though as there is no aircondition.
We forgot to give back the main's door key and they didn't charge us anything for that. Nice staff.
Great location and very clean. The hostal was spotless. We booked a room with shared bathroom and worked out very nicely. Parking very convenient and free during the night!
The man employee was helpful but the older women weren't particularly friendly. Not a reason not to book, just wasn't a bonus.
Room 103 has a wonderful view across the valley, also the tram can be glimpsed between the buildings.
Walls are thin, a neighbouring snorer disturbed my sleep.
Soller is a lovely relaxed town, moving towards officially becoming a 'slow town'. It's a great place for hiking, strolling, chilling out (17 restaurants etc in the main square!) and visiting nearby places like Puerto Soller beach and Deia. And Hostal Nadal is an excellent budget choice for a base.
It's a good hostel-hotel for the budget-conscious - therefore you can't expect more than the necessities, and they were all there and adequate The only thing might be that the stairs to the 3F are a bit tough after a long day in the Serra Tramuntana!
Price, location, cleanliness.
Shared toilet and showers.
Near to main town centre, shops, bars and restaurants Good location for local walks Very clean and a lovely old building Friendly and helpful staff Nice bar - try the sangria :)
No air con but at the price who expects it - but be warned, in the recent heat wave it was v hard to sleep - and noisy with windows open No water pressure in upper floor showers - not the best
good location good price clean bedding & towels
too noisy owners dog barking at 6.30am birds in cages too noisy poor breakfast pillows as thin as wafers
great location prompt service nice outside eating area and fantastic view from bedroom with comfortable beds
bar closed too early at 3pm
The owner is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed, there's a lovely garden to sit in, everywhere is spotlessly clean.
Location was good and Soller is a lovely place to be based. Family run and although not much english was spoken were very friendly.
The noise from outside and inside was unbearable at times. Loud walkers and cyclist who had no regard for the other folk trying to sleep both at night and in the early morning. The dogs, birds and hens also added to the onslaught on your ears. we had to buy ear plugs to help with sleep. didn t like that lots of birds were caged in small cages!
Location Courtyard Real Spain Character
Could do with a fan in the room
Location Amazing views Staff were pleasant
Beds were rock solid No pressure in shower and no hook for shower head Pillows were uncomfortable! Caged birds in breakfast area is barbaric!!!!!
