central location

Paper-thin walls mean you won't get any sleep if your neighbors are the least bit noisy. We could hear every word spoken in the adjacent rooms.

simple but very clean hostal with excellent location, just a min of walk from liceu metro station and rambla. the price is fair for such clean and centrally located place and you won't really find a better place. Boqueria market, port vell, barceloneta beach, plaza catalunya are near.

no fridge and tv. but the main and principal inconvenience for me was that we could hear everything ehat is happening in the nexdoor rooms: even conversations, showers, etc, as if it is happening in our room!! In addition the beds are not very comfortable, but it is not a considerable disadvantage.

GREAT location with walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, sights and beach, the rooms are nice and clean, nice staff, great value for money

Perfect location for Port Vell, La Rambla and the Metro so easy to get around this amazing city.

Staff Location

Close proximity to everything. If not walking use the metro, station 50 m away. Great restaurants closeby esp amongst the windy narrow streets. Wonderful city!!

this hotel is in an excellent location! The staff was very friendly, the wi-fi worked, and the rooms were good, air-conditioned, with a good bathroom. There is no breakfast, but there are places to get breakfast nearby.

Staffs are not really friendly No kettle provided No hair dryer- u need to ask , when I asked for piping hot water, he told me to get from the pipe which is not really hot thought. They don't clean the room for u everyday

入住时酒店有卡片说明两天换一次毛巾，结果住了四天一次也没换过，还发现房间清洁人员把在地上弄湿有黑印的- 毛巾继续放在浴缸旁边，扣分

It was very near the metro. The hotel was very clean. It was like a 3 star hotel more than a hostel.

We left out luggage there after checking out and had to pay €2 when all other hotels/hostels we've been to have this service for free. The hair dryer can only be loaned from the receptionist for 2 hrs but fortunately this is free. The receptionist didn't seem very friendly. They didn't refill the soap and shampoo and stuff even though we stayed for two days. I think they didn't change towels as well.

Alley walk to the hotel seemed / felt dangerous but nothing happened to us. Just don't go home too late, I guess.

Nice apartment, close to La Rambla but placed in non loud street. Rooms equiped with clean air conditioning. Free internet acces with quite good transfer.

Hotel is closed at night and is need to call staff when you go at night.

The hotel is a few steps to La Rambla. Everything is basic but ok. The room was large enough. Next time I would think to stay far from the center since Barcelona has a wide metro system.

There was no hair drier, heating worked not well, no hot water.

Great location close to heart of the action yet still a quiet hotel.Lots of places to eat nearby from expensive to budget. Modern, well appointed, spotlessly clean. More or less what you would expect from a good 3 Star Hotel but just pared down to the essentials you need.

Seems they have a rule that if you leave anything at all on the bed - in my case just a clean folded up T-Shirt - the cleaners won't make the bed for you! Strangest and least helpful hotel rule l have ever come across! Not good!

The hotel was spotlessly clean, though somewhat spartan in furnishings. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and a very good shower and bathroom facilities especially after the place we had stayed in in Florence. There was a nice sitting room with vending machines available for guest use. Our room was air conditioned which was pleasant on the few hotter nights we had.

There was some street noise but as the hostal was just off Las Ramblas the busiest street, it was not really a problem and rather to be expected at this time of the year.

The hostel is in an excellent location for exploring the old quarter of the city being only 100 metres from the Ramblas and about halfway between the port and the city centre. The facilities are very adequate for a short 3/4 day stay.

Just little things. A little brusque reception (improved during our stay), a somewhat wonky shower attachment and no washbasin plug (room 408).
