Hostal Plaza Cantarero    

Very tidy and clean family run hostal. Great location-close the the bus station, and friendly owner (we only met the lady and her new-born baby, so cute!) The room is more of small hotel standard as you get everything you need in a hotel: private bathroom, hairdryer, kettle, air-conditioner etc. There's even a nice terrace with coffee machine and microwave! Will definitely stay here next time we visit Nerja and will make sure we stay longer!

We loved everything about this hostal and the hosts Tanya & Pepe were so friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definately be going back next year with family.

A great location arriving by bus, 5 mins walk to balcon de Europa Due to ill health had to cut short our stay Pepe could not be more helpful. Tanya had gone into labour so hope all the family are all ok

Excellent location in a quiet part of town, though only 2 minutes walk from the bus stops, and a ten minute stroll from the centre. Comfortable bed, and some imagination shown in the room decoration. Roof terrace with views.

I've thought about it, but nothing. The TV sometimes couldn't get the BBC signal, but that didn't really affect us.

Third stay here. Amazing value, exceptionally clean. Tanya's English is perfect (has a British Father) All bars/beaches etc within ten minute walk, although bit longer coming back!!

Couldn't get the showr head positioned correctly- ended up swamping the bedroom floor. No British TV, although think it was an area problem as we had it last year

Here it's brilliant! The staff is very kind to explain around nerja and the room is clean and decorated lovely. Its unbelieably cheep and the location is easy access to anywhere and even close to auto bus station. Definitely recommend this place!

Everything was great! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and warm with the heater on. Close enough to everything in Nerja. The roof terraza is stunning!

The booking confirmation said a room with a balcony but we were given an internal room. It was quiet and comfortable though so we didn't chase this up.

The attention to detail was amazing, having used various Hostal´s in Spain over the year my friend and I were very impressed overall. I would stay here again and have recommended Hostal Plaza Cantarero to others already!

We spent three nghts at Hostal Cantarero which was great value for money, spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Tanya the owner was great. making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a very positive experience.

The location was very good, close to some excellent restaurants, good shops and the bus station. The Hostal was spotlessly clean. There is a delightful roof terrace and also a fridge is available to store food and drink. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful, advising on good restaurants and places to visit.

We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner, nothing was too much trouble even though we were returning back to the hotel after midnight!

Location is excellent just atound the corner from the bus station. On a main street,but quiet, that leads to the centre. Spotlessly clean. Really helpful owner. Great value you for money. Whatmore can you want.

The place to stay in nerja!!! The hotel was presented beautifully and the cleanliness was second to none! The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels left for us.The staff were exceptionally helpful and very accommodating with any of our requests. The owner Tanya was very knowledgable of the area and was able to recommend some really exquisite restaurants. The roof terrace is one of the most gorgeous terraces around with a covered area, sun loungers and patio tables all surrounded with pretty flowers and plants. It is located on one of the main streets but is far enough away to not hear any noise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely recommend plaza cantarero.
