The owners are extremely nice. Breakfast is wonderful.

We were 3 friends that stayed in a triple room in the hostal - the room was excellent and very spacious; it had everything you could need and was kept very clean too by the staff. The breakfast was one of the best things there - I recommend going for this option because the price is really great value for the variety of food you get. Its a small family run hotel with a lovely personal feel, and the guys are really helpful and will go the extra mile to help you and make your stay there comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We loved the customers service: flexibility and personal approach were present all the time. The location is very good: in the center of Palamos, next to a local parking, in a calm street. All rooms had nice views of the village and even the mountains. Breakfast was excellent, with several choices that changed every day. Everything was clean and the ambience of the Residencia Catalina was calm as we were expecting.

I stayed in this hotel last October and was so impressed that I did not even consider staying elsewhere for my latest trip to Palamos in April. The hotel itself is delightful, beautifully decorated and with some very interesting period furniture. My bedroom was a good size as was the bathroom and spotlessly clean. It also included a kettle with tea and coffee provided. I would certainly recommend the breakfast. It was served in a spacious, light and airy breakfast room and included a large selection of breads, cold meats (I had some very good ham), cheeses, fruit and dried fruit, cereals, pastries, yoghurts, excellent coffee, fruit juices and teas. However it was unobtrusive hospitality of the owners that made my stay in the hotel such a pleasure.

A good location in a quiet part of town and a very good breakfast in a lovely dining room with wonderful cheeses, fruit, and breads.

My friend and I booked a half-price flash deal via Facebook and we got far more than we expected for the price. The room wasn't especially modern but it was very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the street, air conditioning and little details like a kettle, toiletries and extra pillows. We paid 4€ each for breakfast after reading other guest reviews, and definitely weren't disappointed! Fantastic buffet of different breads, cured meats, cheese, jam, fresh fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, little pastries... The owners were also really friendly and offered maps, weather forecasts, directions to nearby beaches etc. The location was perfect for us, in a quiet street near the sea, with lots of restaurants and the bus station nearby. In general, we thought the guest house was incredible value for money and it really surpassed all our expectations!

Really can't complain about anything, especially for the price we paid! The only thing I can think of is that the Wi-Fi signal wasn't great in our room, but that wasn't particularly important.

relacion calidad precio muy buena, buen desayuno, buen trato, habitaciones discretas con aire acondicionado y balcón, no se puede pedir más por lo que vale. Diseño del hostal cuidadoso.

En la habitación falta de oscuridad por la noche, dado que la persiana del balcón dejan penetrar " mucho" la luz de la calle, si mi estancia hubiera sido en verano a la salida del sol "5 H." todos despiertos. Una solución sencilla, es colocar una cortina que no sea traslucida como tiene en muchos hoteles ¿hay sala de estar? o el comedor sirve para las dos cosas
