The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find that they were Indian but that is fine for us Aussies as they could give us the cricket results! The price is really good if you just want a bed for the night.

The rooms were tiny and the shower and toilets were just cupboards opening off the hall. I am glad that I didn't have to use them! It was so cramped that I was happy to be only staying one night.

The location cannot be beaten!! Fantastic to walk out into the bustling Barcelona streets, everything you could want on your doorstep. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating with language etc. Rooms are basic but clean, bathrooms are communal but very clean (cleaned twice a day I think). All in all, recommended!

One night a gilr was very drunk and rowdy. She was told to keep it down but refused (she pretended to be on the phone to a hospital, when actually she was wishing her friend happy birthday) I could hear every word - no sleep that night! But the following day the staff told her off and she apologised, I was glad at how the staff handled it, despite the terrible night!

One of the best value hostals I have ever stayed at. It honestly didn't seem like a low end at all, actually to the contrary. The rooms were spacious and renovated with kitchen amenities, strong shower, and beds you could melt into at night. The location was perfect right off La Ramla, can't think of anything I'd complain about!

The hostal is central and very safe and secure at night. Good value for money.

The walls in the bedroom and bathroom/toilet need painting as the paint was peeling off.

Generally decent place in the heart of the city for a nice price. The lack of television is good when you hear other noices from other rooms.
