Kamer was in orde, ruim en proper. Omgeving is zeer mooi.

- Zeer fustrerend dat aan het onthaal enkel Spaans kan worden gesproken - het ontbijt was voor ons lamnetabel slecht met hard brood, maar wel goed koffie. - de eerste keer ooit dat wij hebben moeten uitchecken letterlijk met de voeten in het water - dit hotel staat nr 1 op ons"never again" lijstje en heeft ons label " to avoid" ruim verdiend.

Mooie grote kamer en badkamer, goede airco, grote flatscreen tv. Rustige ligging, omgeven door groen, mooi zwembad en tuin. Lekker en uitgereid ontbijt. Gezellig restaurant met op het menu voor elk wat wils. Correcte prijs. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar.

Authentic place with a very quiet surrounding, super for a romantic weekend! The restaurant and the food there is soooo good, I wish I could have dinner there again. Staff is amazing, very friendly and welcoming.

we only had a small issue with the bathroom. it floods easily. but compared to all the other benefits of the place it is no big deal

perfect, exactly as the photos are shown on the website. a perfect get away from the modern, bland surrounding areas. stayed during the winter so could not take advantage of the grounds and swimming pool, will return during the summer to do so.

resteraunt was closed but is open during the week-end. was not a problem as ate in Roses, 5 min. drive away. a pity because the dining area had a wonderfull ambience

Pleasant surroundings

The restaurant shuts in Autumn/Winter and you have to go to Roses to get a meal, which is 3km away. Impractical rooms with one chair,no desk or place to put your bags and an Olympic pool sized spa bath. The wiFi only works in certain parts the restaurant or outside. Breakfast was sparse and the bread was stale, so it had to be toasted.

1.There was no wi-fi in the rooms and the foyer, only in the restaurant 2.One of the guys at tghe reception spoke very poor english and it was hard to understand each other at times 3. The price for saturday night was 50% higher than for other days of the week

Excellent small hotel with plenty of character away from the hustle & bustle of Roses. Lovely terrace setting for both dinner & breakfast. Friendlt and efficient staff.

Air conditioning too noisy to use, would have kept the whole hotel awake at night.

Roses is a very busy and noisy town. Being located just outside the town, Mas Palou is in a quiet, easily accessible location, with a large car park. It has all the necessary facilities, with the addition of an outdoor swimming pool, and a great restaurant (if you are a meat lover, you will love this place!).

Our room was very large, but very dated. It could do with being refurbished, as it wasn't quite as appealing as what was shown on the website.

The hotel is a very relexed place - not too many people, in a beutiful restored farm house, with a nice swimming pool and a smal SPA, just a few minutes out of Roses (you need a car but its a 5min drive), and it has a free parking yard as part of the property. for us as a family traveling with a car, it was excellent - the kids enjoyed the pool every day before/after we went to Roses beaches or touring the Costa Brava touristic points. Getting from the hotel to Roses was very quick, and Cadaques, Figueres and the other attractions are fairly close. The team was very nice and attentive and the breakfest was nice.

The two rooms we got did not have an air condition.. they had a chiller which needed a lot of time to chill the room and made terrible noise. this was realy painful as it was hard to sleep with the noise and harder with the heat. The hotel team suggested to move us to a room with "normal" air condition for the last night (which we didnt as we didnt want the fuss of packing again and again) - which means there are such rooms. make sure your room has a "normal" air condition and not a chiller.

The hotel is far from the noise of Roses, but close enough for enjoying the night life. The environment is great with a swimming-pool to relax surrounded by nature.

The room was great, old stylish. The staff was very friendly.

WiFi works only in the small area, because of the walls were made of stone.

This hotel really surprised me. I had initally booked a hotel in Cadaques as we were planning to visit the town, but when I came across this hotel at almost half the price, with parking and breakfast thrown in as well as a jacuzzi / spa bath in our room, I decided to take a chance. The room was very big, beautifully clean and nicely furnished and the jacuzzi was excellent! The staff were so helpful and very friendly and although they spoke little english, we managed to communicate well enough. The owner was so pleasant, he chilled a bottle of my own champagne for me and gave us glasses for when we went back to our room. I had also ordered a parcel to be delivered to the hotel to collect when I arrived and they were happy to allow this. We ate at the hotel's restaurant in the evening and again I was pleasantly surprised. We had iberico ham and melon, duck liver pate, lamb chops and prawn/scallop skewers. The dishes were generously portioned and the quality was absolutely top notch. Their house white wine was also excellent (only 9 euros!) and the whole meal came to about 55 euros, so excellent value. Can't recommend this place enough!

The fridge in our room didn't work, but the owner of the hotel was only too happy to chill our champagne for us behind the bar.

Nice quiet place.

Le cadre, l'accueil, la propreté, l'ambiance très chaleureuse, le confort, les repas, absolument tout était parfait hors mis le manque de chaines télévisées françaises.

Particulièrement bien placé, cadre privilégié Personnel très sympathique, bonne ambiance, bonne carte Et chambre très agréable, avec un immense jacuzzi, fort apréciable pour une soirée à 2

très bon rapport qualité prix. très au calme tout en étant à 5min de la mer. piscine agréable et parking devant le mas gratuit. pti déj très bien à la fois sucré et salé. grande baignoire à remous dans la chambre.

certaines chambres n ont pas de fenêtres donc très sombre.

La chambre ne correspondait pas aux attentes et photos nous avions réservé cinq nuits pour notre 10eme anniversaire de mariage et avons été très déçus fuite de la toiture l'eau tombait sur notre lit, fenetres non isolées pas de chauffage, isolation phonique inexistante , pas de chaines tv françaises, manque flagrant d hygiène sur la literie avons quittés l hotel avant notre première nuit
