Good location, 10 - 15 min walk to many local attractions, I.E., Prado, Renia Sofia, Royal Palace, Gran Via shopping and Plaza Mayor. As well, many cheap eateries nearby. Very tiny bathroom - big enough for a shower, not a bath. Knee touches the wall when sitting on a can. Not a place for people who are vertically challenged.

Basic place to stay, but everything you need for just a one or two night stay. Wifi worked very well, so that's important for me as business traveller. Everything else was just fine. I did not have problems with noise, but I did not stay during the weekend.

I was in the hostal with my boyfriend and my brother. We were very satisfied with the room,it was clean and bright, the furniture new and the beds were also comfortable. The receptionists were very friendly and the hotel was easy to find. Just some steps from the metro station Noviciado.Near there there are many small and cute bars where you can eat very delicious spanish foods at half price than in the city. Also next time we will definitely choose this hostal. And by the way, Madrid is beautiful. Due to the fact that the windows of the room open to a street, it was a little bit noisy in the night. (We were on Fri and Sat there)

Even though the building entrance is not the most beautiful thing in Madrid, the room's property and confort were surprisingly good taking into account the price. In addition, it is very well located!

Very comfortable, perfect location close to historical city centre, tube station and the malasana barrio. It's well taken care of, a real jewel. Besides the ugly entrance to the building, nothing to complain about.

Just the location.... Near to a lot of restaurants and tube stations. I have booked a room with 2 single beds, but when I got there they have had only a double bed available that was very tiny. The room is also very small, specially the bathroom. I couldn't even seat straight in the toilet. They don't have room service to change towels or tidy up the room. It also very noisy...

Lo que más me importa es la limpieza del cuarto de baño y puedo decir que el baño estaba bien limpio, cambian las toallas y limpian y hacen las camas cada día. El personal siempre con una sonrisa, muy amable. Las sábanas y toallas se veían nuevas y limpias. El edificio es antiguo pero las habitaciones están pintadas desde hace poco y la ropa de la cama también. El baño era un poco pequeño pero para pocos días suficiente.

Idéalement placé, en plein centre ville, tout à portée de main (les plazas toutes proches, Gran Via animée, commerces, toutes sortes de restauration...) Transports en commun (métro, bus, Madrid city tour à deux pas...) Chambre faite tous les jours, linge de toilette changé également chaque jour. Murs pas très épais donc isolation phonique limite, mais avec des boules Quiés pas de problème, et puis pour le temps qu'on passe dans la chambre d'hôtel... Attention, le plan d'accès à l'hôtel Rias Bajas sur le site internet ne correspond pas, il vous dirige sur un autre hôtel de Madrid; il vaudrait mieux signaler qu'à la sortie de Métro "Plaza de Espana", il faut remonter la Gran Via, et la Calle San Bernardo est la deuxième rue sur la gauche ( l'hôtel se trouve à environ deux cents mètres, sur la gauche)

Muy buen trato, céntrico y buen precio. Habitación pequeña pero bastante aceptable para una escapada rápida. Calefacción y secador estropeados y sin reponer por otros, edificio viejo con polvo aunque aparentemente estaba limpio. El agua caliente se iba rápido si había más gente en las duchas...

Todo perfecto. Muy céntrico (a 300 metros de la Gran Vía), habitación muy limpia, trato exquisito en un ambiente muy familiar y relación calidad/precio excelente. 100% recomendable. Además como punto positivo destaco que estuvieran de obras mejorando las zonas comunes del edificio, algo necesario para no bajar el nivel de calidad. El único punto a mejorar es el baño, en la habitación de 4 personas al menos era excesivamente pequeño.

Sólo el precio y la limpieza de la habitación. La entrada al hotel era un desastre, recién pintada llena de papeles y olor a barniz. Había que subir un nivel inmenso con escaleras. Se escuchaba absolutamente todos los movimientos de los cuartos laterales y superiores y la bulla de la calle. Tuve que ponerme tapones para poder dormir.
