perfect location, helfuill staff, rooms clean
Very good location, clean rooms, helpful staff.
The street is very noisy, the double bed was undersized and the wifi was terrible.
Good value for money.
Bed against the wall, felt crammed in, bed uncomfortable, no drink making facilities
Clean bedding, great location to gran via.
No safe box, staff speak little english
We were four Australian Grandmas who had just completed walking the Camino over a five week period. The only hotel in all of Spain to provide a hot water jug with tea, and a jug of milk when we asked - loved it, especially as we were in the wonderful attic room with skylight windows, which required us to walk up three flights of stairs plus the attic stairs. Just as well we were fit! Loved the location in the old quarter. All Hospitaliers friendly, helpful and professional, appreciated them greatly.
At tines, the three flights of stairs, plus attic stairs.
Really nice and friendly staff. The place is fantastic. All important points in Madrid are so close to this hostel.
No parking facilities
This is a kind of old-fashion hotel with wood stairs. Typical Madrid Style. The hotel location is also convenient to the metro. But it's really difficult for parking if you rent a car. The receptionist is very kind to provide help, although their English is not quite good.
The room is really tiny for us, since we have brought three cases with us during travel.
Very good location.
The hotel is near the metro station Plaza Espagna, and near a lot of shops and restaurants. Is basic and clean, a good choice for discover the city center of Madrid.
The bathroom is very small.
