This pleasant guest house is located on a pedestrianised Street, just 2 minutes’ walk from Puerta del Mar Beach. It offers a 24-hour reception and comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi and some with balconies. The bright rooms at Hostal Rocamar feature simple, functional décor and include a ceiling fan, TV and private bathroom. Some rooms also offer scenic mountain views. The property has a communal TV lounge, a games room and provides tourist information. Several bars, restaurants and shops are within 5 minutes’ walk. The lively Paseo del Altillo Street is 400 metres away. The Rocamar is 200 metres from Almuñecar Bus Station and 25 km from Nerja. You can drive to both Malaga and Granada in around 1 hour. The hostel was a very quiet place even though it was very central. The hostel doesn't have parking (although there is a zone for pick-up and drop-off), but you can park very near for free, and the place is safe. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was in suite and nice. The staff were very nice, they even offer to help you with the bags and gave us advice which places to visit (we were looking for nice beaches). The hotel is ideally located and near to restaurants, small supermarkets and all amenities important for a tourist. All and all it was very good value for money. We had a very good time in Almunecar and would choose the hostel again without any hesitation.

Cheap, clean and cozy, 10 minutes on foot from the beach and within walking distance from main city sights. Very friendly and helpful staff! Only one person from the staff speaks english, thus sometimes it's hard to communicate. But, as there are only like three or four english-speaking people in Almunecar, it's a great thing :)

- the owner of the hotel is very friendly, helpful and always at your disposal -the location is excellent for those who want travel arround- near the bus station, near the city center and main attractions; beaches - very clean and looked after - there is a big ceiling fan ( no air condition) - there is no fridge in the room - wifi is sometimes interrupted , no fix internet + pc but nternet caffes nearby

Rocamar was very clean and basic at a reasonable price. I loved the heavy wooden doors and marble floors too, very regal!

Colchón nuevo, la limpieza en general de la habitación. Un gato negro vivo encima del mostrador de recepción. Al cuarto de baño le falta una repisa para dejar la bolsa de aseo y más luz.

Tiene todo lo imprescindible para poder pasar la noche en una visita al pueblo y las costas cercanas. El baño está muy cuidado y reformado. También está todo limpio y ordenado. Calle tranquila y sin ruidos. Tiene una ubicación excepcional para disfrutar de todo el ambiente de los bares, de tapas y de copas, cercano a la nueva zona de bares nocturnos de música, próximo también a bancos, tiendas y supermercados. La playa más próxima está a menos de cinco minutos a pie. Se pueden visitar a pie monumentos muy cercanos: castillo, mirador, museo, acueducto... Totalmente recomendable para una estancia muy económica y tener sitio donde dormir y dejar el equipaje. El mobiliario necesita una mano de barniz.

La ubicación. Los muebles eran de mi abuelo, todo era muy antiguo. No hay aire acondicionado y hace mucho calor. En la ducha como se te callera algo al suelo había que salirse para poder cogerlo, era muy muy estrecho.

El personal muy amable, la localización del hostal muy buena, cerca de la playa y con un dia y la estacion de autobuses al lado, se puede ir a cualquier sitio andando. Las habitaciones bastante bien, limpias, el baño bien , vamos lo q se puede pedir por un precio economico Quiza la seguridad... Los muebles que estaban viejos, y q la maquina expendedora tenia la mayor parte de las bebidas agotadas.. Pero para pasar unos dias, esta bastate bien

Nova kopalnica, balkon, wi-fi delujoc tudi v sobi, prijazno in azurno osebje, v mestnem srediscu. V vseh obalnih mestih Costa Tropicana in Costa del Sol je tezje najti parkirno mesto.
